The food was good but the portions are small. My friend ordered a Coke; it came in a small glass & got charged 8$. The music is very loud & we couldn't hear one another when talking, but it's that kind of vibe I guess. Excellent service from the waitress 🌟
This guy from bar staff was auto-charging 15%/25% tipping to the bill without any prior consent or choice. He claimed it was the'minimum' in Quebec, which is simply not true, tipping in Quebec is voluntary & it is not to be imposed.
He did this with all of us, every time we ordered, he would just hand over the credit card machine with the 18% or 25% already added. Even when my friends & I wanted to leave a custom tip, because we are not against tipping!, he would take the machine & say'let me make things easier for you, I got you, this is the minimum tip,' not giving us a choice. It honestly felt like if you weren't fast enough, he would just snap the credit card machine out of your hands. I also work in service & would never act that way or be that pushy. When a friend paid in cash, he kept asking her over & over how much she was going to tip, which felt very uncomfortable.
I was hoping more of Bar Pangea, it always seemed very fancy, & was expecting more since it was my first time, but this gentleman left me disappointed. If you're expecting more pay, tips are not mandatory. This pushy behavior really killed off my vibe.

Came out for a good time, not to get hit with made-up rules & attitude. I was more than willing to too my bartender but wa treated so unkindly, even tired to pay cash & was told there's a random'minimum tip ,' but somehow there's also a mandatory 20-25% tip on top of that… ? all delivered with zero friendliness. If you're going to expect a big tip, maybe start by being nice first?
Tipping is for good service, not something you force on people while killing the vibe.
Honestly turned what should've been a fun night into an annoying one real quick because how am i paying this much for shots broooo???
We were visiting Montréal from L.A & were referred to Pangea by a local friend, & even some friends of ours from New York insisted we had to try it - & they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, you could feel the energy of the place. The staff were incredibly welcoming & you can genuinely tell they love the establishment & take pride in what they do.
The food was fantastic. We started with a few appetizers to share & everything was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The mains were just as impressive - perfectly cooked & full of Mediterranean flavors. The cocktails were also excellent & paired perfectly with the meal.
What really stood out was the service. The team was attentive, friendly, & made the whole experience feel special without being over the top. It felt like everyone working there truly enjoys being part of Pangea.
The atmosphere is amazing - elegant but still lively. It's the perfect place to start with dinner & end the night enjoying the music & vibe.
We'll definitely be back next time we're in Montréal. Highly recommend.
Such a beautiful experience. We were greeted outside by the hostess who walked us to our table, which already felt so welcoming. The olive tree inside the restaurant was such a special touch. it honestly reminded me of my hometown in Málaga.
We came on their Latin night & it was amazing, the energy & music were incredible. Our server Angelica was so sweet & made the night even better.
Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, & such a fun vibe. I can't wait to come back.
Elle was such a vibe tonight Super friendly great energy & made the whole night better just by being behind the bar. Drinks were on point & she kept the good mood going even when it was busy. Definitely a great night.

incroyable! le serveur stéphane a vraiment fait ma soirée d'anniversaire, je pourrais pas demander pour un meilleur service, j'ai passée une superbe fête & je reviendrai 100%, la nourriture incroyable & la musique était vraiment un vibe. J'ai adoré, meilleur resto à mtl🎂🎂✨

Had a great night at Pangea. We came in for dinner & didn't expect the evening to turn into a full Latin night, but it honestly made the experience even better. The music & vibe picked up in the best way, & the staff kept everything smooth & welcoming. Good food, good drinks, & a really fun atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
I went there on a date on Thursday & Leila provided excellent service, actually the whole staff was amazing & even the executive chef was around chilling & made the date 100x better by providing this delicious ice cream sandwich & cracking jokes! Can't forget to mention the vibe itself (music…) & the aesthetic, def recommend!

The service here is outstanding, warm, attentive, & genuine. The atmosphere has such a real, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. & the food? Absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented.
We dined with Sheldon as our server while visiting Montreal for f1. Sheldon gave his recommendations which were delicious & was attentive to our table throughout the meal. The upstairs patio is such a sweet vibe!

I highly recommend this place. AMAZING VIBES! Every time we go there, we are taken care of. Staff always on point, great management. Special shoutout to Marco top tier manager! Keep up the good work guys!
Nous sommes venues 3 filles un samedi soir.
Bon'vibe' de façon générale... avec un mais.
Nous avons pris l'entrée d'halloumi, le Mac & cheese à la truffe & l'entrée de pieuvre. Tout était trop salé ou trop cuit (pieuvre).
Nous sommes venues un soir (samedi pourtant) où il y a eu que 3 tables occupées par des clients, donc assez moyen pour l'ambiance.
Par contre, les gens très gentils. Service correct...
Peut-être ce serait mieux un vendredi...
3 of my friends & I went for ladies night! Amazing decor, fantastic service, vibey music & the food was soooo good! Thank you for the vegetarian options in each course that were delicious!!!! Will definitely come back to try the brunch & to see the vibe in the summe
We went there for a friend's birthday & it was so nice. The DJ was amazing & the party vibes were definitely there. The only thing missing was a dance floor. I would 100% recommend & come back here.
