WARNING: Do not go here. You will get extorted. I felt extorted by the short bartender with a man bun & a beard. After paying $55 for 2 drinks, 1 double gin & tonic, 1 single, bar rail (plus tip) he demanded I tip more. Last time I checked, there is no mandatory standard for tipping in Montreal. He claimed I had to tip 18%, meanwhile the service was HORRIBLE. I had to wait 10 minutes for my drinks because he was having a conversation with other people while serving me. If you expect a standard tip, I expect the standard level of service in which I actually get attended to without having to wait an absurd amount of time. He threatened to manually add the tip to my next order, essentially forcing me to pay for something that is NOT legally mandatory, while providing sub-par service. We made our way out when he was distracted serving bottles to the table next to us & dancing as I felt I would be confronted. Pangea, if it wasn't already obvious, here is something to think about - maybe you should pay your employees a living wage so they don't need to rely on customers tipping 18%. It will help you retain business. Place was cool though! Guy at the door, awesome. I'd tip 18% if I knew a cut was going to him.
We went here for dinner & the food, drinks & atmosphere were amazing! Julian was so kind & fun & could tell he cared about our experience! 100% recommend & we will be back!

We had an incredible experience at Pangea! We were served by Julian & you could tell that he put a lot of love into each drink that he made. He made the whole experience very special for us. The ambiance, lighting, & seating were perfect. & the roasted stuffed salmon was super tasty. We will definitely be back!! 100% recommend.
Elle was such a vibe tonight Super friendly great energy & made the whole night better just by being behind the bar. Drinks were on point & she kept the good mood going even when it was busy. Definitely a great night.

This is the worst service ever. I went & they never took my order until two hours later. My drink took an hour, & the woman at the bar seemed angry. The waiter couldn't do anything, & the bathrooms were filthy. I don't recommend this place; I'll never go back.
Got served by Sheldon, he had great customer service skills, very attentive to our needs. He definetly made dinning here pleasant. Me & my friend had an amazing time here for lady's night. Food & drinks were a 10/10

Had a great night at Pangea. We came in for dinner & didn't expect the evening to turn into a full Latin night, but it honestly made the experience even better. The music & vibe picked up in the best way, & the staff kept everything smooth & welcoming. Good food, good drinks, & a really fun atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Spontaneously ventured in here strolling around Montreal Old Port & I'm so happy we did! The decor was unique & the drinks were delicious. We had Stephane as our waiter & he was phenomenal. He was so friendly, engaging, & went above & beyond. I'll be back to Montreal if only to visit Pangea…. Thank you Stephane & the rest of the staff!
Came for the ladies night where you can eat for free with the purchase of a drink. Experience was so so. We arrived & the appetizers were placed on the table right away before we ordered. (You get a salad & a dip plate to share - taste were mid for both). You have to choose a cocktail that's $22 (with alcohol) or $18 (non-alcoholic)(my drink just tasted like sugar). For dinner you get a choice between a burger or truffle Mac n cheese (these were ok but nothing to write home about). Then for dessert it's a bite sized cheesecake (none of us ate it bc it was so sweet & not good).
The music was loud & at the end it's a mandatory $8 tip per person. As such the cost of the meal was $33 all-in. Our server entered the tip so you can't change it. Overall it was ok bc it was a deal but the food & drink was so meh that I don't think I'd do it again.

Food was delicious 😋 😍 Had the Mediterranean salad with chicken & OMG 😲 😋 one of the best I've ever had. Main course was
Mushroom Ravioli & it was outstanding 👏🏽 sauce was so good I could drink it. Our server was a sweet young lady originally from Columbia. Had & a wonderful conversation with her & I hope she gets her degree in political science & makes it to Los Angeles ❤?
Food was ok-ish, drinks completely overpriced, staff was friendly & joyful, but the place is filth bomb. Almost left after using the washroom, before the food came. No soap & the kitchen looked terrible & dirty. If you are ok with all this, you will enjoy your experience.
I live my life to never be a Karen, but this place forced me to. We stopped for a quick drink, which we mostly got (the Celsius never showed up). After the third ask for the check I finally got to pay (for the Celsius I never got as well). Just happy I finally got someone to let me pay before we had to just walk out. To give more context there were four hostesses doing nothing & one waitress doing everything. A shame to the fantastic brand that is Celsius.

It was my first time at Pangea, & it definitely won't be the last! The food was delicious, & the drinks were spot on. The service was top-notch! Ellona was an amazing waitress! She recommended dishes like a friend would, making us feel right at home. Super friendly & incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend!
Nous sommes allés moi & une amie au « girls night » du mercredi soir. L'idée était intéressante, par contre les drinks sont un peu cher (25$) & la nourriture est correcte. Un choix d'entrée( un plat qui doit être séparé à 2 personnes) 2 choix de plat principal & un choix de dessert. Je suis personnellement intolérante au lactose & le dessert était un gâteau au fromage, j'ai demandé une autre option & on m'a dit non… La musique est très forte & le service est « rushant » on apporte les plats très rapidement & on se sent obligé de se dépêcher à partir… On m'a demandé si j'avais finis alors que mon assiette était à moitié pleine.. Un peu déçue…
It's sort of a hybrid between a club & restaurant. I went on a Friday night, & there weren't many people dancing during the club portion. But the atmosphere was nice. The interior decor was really pretty. The music was a little loud for my liking but it is a club after all. Food (although good) & drinks very expensive.
