Stephane did an excellent job serving us today! I've never felt so at home when being out. He went out of his was to accommodate every little ask we had with a smile & hilarious banter. Stephane is a Gem as well as every other staff member we encountered. Highly recommended!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our experience at Pangea in Montreal was very disappointing.

We travelled from Toronto & encountered severe weather & flooding along the way. We were literally blocked from accessing our street & ended up running late for our reservation. We called ahead to let the restaurant know, & the woman we spoke with on the phone assured us that it would be fine.

When we arrived, however, we were told that we could enter only if we paid $15 per person, but that no food would be available. Since we had specifically come to eat, we decided to leave.

We returned the following day for lunch, hoping for a better experience. When we arrived at approximately 2:30 PM, we were told that lunch would not be available until 4:00 PM & were only provided with a breakfast menu. Considering it was well past lunchtime, this was very surprising. We decided to stay for drinks, but even those orders were repeatedly mixed up.

The only bright spot of our experience was a short Black woman who spoke French. She was incredibly kind, helpful, & professional throughout our visit. She was the only staff member who made us feel welcome.

Unfortunately, the woman working at the door was extremely rude & seemed unhappy to be there. There was also a male staff member who appeared more interested in Snapchat than serving customers & even forgot about our order.

If you're looking for good food & reliable service, I would recommend going elsewhere. If you're only interested in the atmosphere & social scene, then Pangea may be for you. In our experience, the vibes were prioritized far more than the customer service or dining experience.

My friend & I came to Pangea for lunch, the venue is very cute & very Instagram worthy. I will never forget my experience here. Stephan is hands down THE BEST. It was non-stop laughs right from the moment we sat down. I will come back here just to see him again. Thank you for making our rainy day so bright with your energy. If you go to Pangea, I recommend asking to be seated I. Stephan's section.

We had such a wonderful experience at Pangea tonight! The food was absolutely delicious (had the chicken souvlakia, SO good🤤) & the cheesecake was also delish. Everything was fresh, flavorful & beautifully prepared.

A special thank you to Stephane, our waiter, who was so kind, down-to-earth & attentive. He made us feel genuinely welcome & well taken care of throughout the evening. Great service can make all the difference & Stephane truly added to an already excellent dining experience.

We'll definitely be back & highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food & exceptional service! 😊

Food was overpriced for the quality. We had the mushroom ravioli, chicken souvlaki, Roasted Stuffed Salmon, & french toast. The Roasted Stuffed Salmon was not fully cooked, the ravioli was too salty, & the french toast was too sweet that we couldn't finish it. I can't lie the food looked amazing though. Also the environment was quite nice but the service was not the best. Out of all the foods that we got the chicken souvlaki was the best & I recommend it.

Came here for my bachelorette dinner & was served by Felix! He was amazing!! Had the best experience. Service was great & the food was really good!! Definitely recommend!
