Mon expérience a été médiocre. Je dois dire que je ne suis pas une cliente difficile, j'ai l'habitude de donner des bonnes revues, mais cette fois, je me suis forcée pour donner deux étoiles.
Premièrement, nous étions sur la terrasse. & la musique était forte. Deuxièmement, je me suis assise sur une chaise mouillée, à ma grande surprise. Pas juste mouillée un peu, mais avec environ 1 cm d'eau. J'ai échangé avec la chaise à côté. Quand j'en ai parlé à la serveuse, elle l'a seulement essuyé & elle a dit que je pouvais reprendre la chaise si je voulais.
Ensuite la nourriture était médiocre. J'ai commandé un hamburger & la viande n'était même pas cuite correctement. C'est très dangereux. Donc je n'ai pas tout mangé. Les pains hamburger n'étaient même pas réchauffés ou toastés. Pour le prix, je m'attendais à quelque chose de bien meilleur. Il y avait la moitié de l'assiette en frites. Les frites étaient bonnes par contre, mais y en avait beaucoup trop. Les deux personnes qui m'accompagnait n'ont pas aimé leur repas non plus.
Bref, je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. Seulement l'emplacement est intéressant.

Solo traveler friendly, great service (Sheldon was an excellent host), great food/ cocktails. Would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area ;)
Stefan is amazing! The service is great & he is very funny. I got the tuna tarter & it was wonderful! I would recommend this place for a fun night out with your friends!

Gorgeous place in the heart of Old Montreal with really tasty food. Our waiter Julian helped make this experience for smooth & memorable for us. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting old Montreal!
This restaurant is so cute & chic. The waiter we had was so fun to talk to. He made our dining experience fun & lively. It was my birthday brunch & he made it worth while. The food is good, the atmosphere was great. I would recommend dining here.

Unbelievably bad service at the door so never got the chance to even eat.
We arrived around 5:45 & asked for a table for two outside. There were several uncleaned empty tables. The hostess told us to wait while she cleaned one. She walked away & didn't come back for several minutes.
When she finally returned, another couple arrived with a reservation for the rooftop We asked if we could also sit upstairs, & she checked her iPad & confirmed there were tables available. She told us to wait because they were just opening the upstairs section & she'd come get us in a minute.
She disappeared again.
Around 6:10, I asked another hostess if the upstairs was open.yet. She said yes. I explained that we'd been waiting to be seated. She looked annoyed, waited for the first hostess to come back from chatting with a bunch of guys at the side of the restaurant. She told her that we were waiting & then both of them simply walked away without saying a word or looking at us. No apology. No explanation. We were left standing there, completely ignored.
At that point, I decided that I didn't want to eat there anymore. Ironically, the couple with the reservation also gave up waiting & left.
This was the worst front-of-house experiences I've ever had. First impressions matter, & this one ensured I never even made it to the dining room.
Old Montreal has no shortage of exceptional restaurants that know how to welcome their guests. Unfortunately, Pangea isn't one I'll ever return to or recommend.

This place came highly recommended, but we had a very disappointing experience. Our food took an hour to arrive after ordering, & even after that was cold. Service for drinks was slow, & they couldn't figure out how to get their projector working after advertising that they would be showing the World Cup games. I would stay away.
Stephane did an excellent job serving us today! I've never felt so at home when being out. He went out of his was to accommodate every little ask we had with a smile & hilarious banter. Stephane is a Gem as well as every other staff member we encountered. Highly recommended!
