We were visiting Montréal from L.A & were referred to Pangea by a local friend, & even some friends of ours from New York insisted we had to try it - & they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, you could feel the energy of the place. The staff were incredibly welcoming & you can genuinely tell they love the establishment & take pride in what they do.
The food was fantastic. We started with a few appetizers to share & everything was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The mains were just as impressive - perfectly cooked & full of Mediterranean flavors. The cocktails were also excellent & paired perfectly with the meal.
What really stood out was the service. The team was attentive, friendly, & made the whole experience feel special without being over the top. It felt like everyone working there truly enjoys being part of Pangea.
The atmosphere is amazing - elegant but still lively. It's the perfect place to start with dinner & end the night enjoying the music & vibe.
We'll definitely be back next time we're in Montréal. Highly recommend.
Je suis venu luncher au Pangea à midi avec quelques collègues & nous avons adoré l'expérience.Le décor est unique ! L'ambiance est superbe, le service très attentionné & les cocktails étaient vraiment excellents. Le gérant était très sympathique ! C'est rare de trouver un endroit aussi agréable pour un lunch à Montréal. On sent que l'équipe aime ce qu'elle fait. Nous allons certainement revenir pour notre party de bureau en décembre.

La déco du resto est vraiment très cute & l'ambiance est agréable, avec une belle musique lounge qui rend l'endroit chaleureux. L'endroit a sincèrement un beau potentiel.
Malheureusement, le service a été très lent. Je travaille moi-même dans une entreprise, donc je comprends très bien que ce n'est pas la faute du serveur. Le pauvre était seul pour environ 35 clients & faisait absolument tout : l'hôte (accueillir & prendre les commandes), le service aux tables & même le barman pour préparer les cocktails. C'est beaucoup trop pour une seule personne.
Une fois assis, on nous remet une carte pour choisir le menu. À notre grande surprise, le menu affiché en ligne ne correspond pas du tout au menu papier sur place : beaucoup moins de variété & des prix plus élevés.
Nous avons commandé un cocktail à 22 $, mais après 40 minutes, il n'était toujours pas arrivé à cause du manque de personnel.
C'est vraiment dommage, car l'endroit a un très beau potentiel. De mon côté, ça ne me dérange pas de payer pour le service, mais s'il vous plaît, mettez assez de personnel pour pouvoir bien servir vos clients.
Celebrated a bachelorette weekend here! Though it was a slow/quiet Sunday night(would have been easy to feel like staff wanted to get us out quick to go home) they made the experience one of the best I've received! Julian (GM) took care of us & his service & attention to detail was outstanding! One of the most professional dinner services I've received; our cocktails were OUT OF THIS WORLD, food was fresh & delicious, & he took the time to share details about his cocktail creations, answer all of our many questions & show how passionate he is about customer service. It was truly special. Highly recommend going in for special occasions!

Extremely overpriced despite their publicity for 5$ beer & 1$ oysters. We came for the oysters which were small but fresh, & the cocktails were over 22$ which is pricey for not being a famous cocktail bar like the one across the street of this place. Service was great overall. We would not come again to fully dine, simply overpriced for not great product.
Came for the ladies night where you can eat for free with the purchase of a drink. Experience was so so. We arrived & the appetizers were placed on the table right away before we ordered. (You get a salad & a dip plate to share - taste were mid for both). You have to choose a cocktail that's $22 (with alcohol) or $18 (non-alcoholic)(my drink just tasted like sugar). For dinner you get a choice between a burger or truffle Mac n cheese (these were ok but nothing to write home about). Then for dessert it's a bite sized cheesecake (none of us ate it bc it was so sweet & not good).
The music was loud & at the end it's a mandatory $8 tip per person. As such the cost of the meal was $33 all-in. Our server entered the tip so you can't change it. Overall it was ok bc it was a deal but the food & drink was so meh that I don't think I'd do it again.
Great restaurant! We went there for the lady's night (ordering a cocktail for a full course meal). Was a bit skeptical at first but def worth it. I had a mocktail & it was nice. We also had three entries & the portion was adequate. The place is beautiful but music might be a bit loud. They are a bit busy but service is still great. Thanks for the organization overall👍

Les serveurs sont jeunes & inexpérimentés, les pauvres ils sont dépassés. Nous avons dû renvoyer assiettes & verres qui étaient sales. Nous avons eu l'entrée avec les cocktails. Une fois servis nous avons dû réclamer les ustensiles pour pouvoir manger & pour avoir de l'eau. Le repas était bon. Cependant nous sommes 2 de la table à avoir pris des ravioles aux champignons, dans une assiette c'était bien servis & l'autre il y avait que 3 pauvres champignons…
Love the aesthetic of this restaurant! We ordered a few appies to share & a few cocktails on the rooftop & our server Sheldon was very friendly & attentive! Can't wait to return :)
I went to the restaurant for drinks with my friends, & while the staff were really friendly & the service was great, I was very disappointed with the drink I ordered. I paid $25 for a Pornstar Martini, but what I received was nothing like the cocktail-it lacked passion fruit & the signature champagne shot. Instead, it tasted like orange juice. While the overall atmosphere was very enjoyable, the cocktail experience fell short. The drink wasn't on the menu, but we asked the bartender if they could make it, & they said yes. If they weren't able to make it properly, it would have been better if they had simply said no
My daughter & I came to Montreal for Christmas experience. While shopping we stopped for dinner & drinks in this cute restaurant. Inside felt like a breath of summer. The cocktails were AMAZING. The food was very good too. Our waiter was friendly & helpful with suggestions. Loved the whole experience.
Had wonderful service by a very welcoming girl IO, she was even able to make me a cocktail off the menu that turned out to be the best I've ever had. One of the wonderful places for food in Montreal, with an amazing & welcoming atmosphere.
