Unfortunantly it didnt quite scratch the itch we were hoping for but also wasnt too bad overall. In general I think they need two more servers to keep up with demand. The servers seemed busy but it took a while for every step of the way so I think they could use a bit more help. The other thing that was a bit unfortunant was the amount of fruit flies that were around. One or two isnt an issue but we were having to swipe away one pretty consistantly.
That being said, the food itself was pretty decent overall. Ill go over the so-so stuff first. We were trying to get the vegiterian papaya salad but apparently there is fish sauce in it that cant be removed so I am not sure why they label it as vegiterian optional. (Thats a bit of a pet peeve of mine since people probably dont even ask if it is labeled as vegiterian). The phad thai was decent with strechy noodles & fried tofu which is something we look for but the peanuts were all clumpped together as if they had been stored for a while. Not nessasarily a bad thing but califlour was also one of the vegtables which is an interesting choice.
On the good end, the bak egg roles were crisp & had good flavores especially when adding the sauce. They gave us the chicken one on accident at first but figured out their mistake before we had any. The drink was also very refreshing. The egg wash was smooth & sweet which complimented the tart & fruity drink.
The atmosphere itself was interesting. The long marbel X shaped table that centered the room was something I hadnt seen anywhere else. It seemed a bit akward at first but the lights & bar made it work more. The lamps seemed like a nice touch that added depth & a warm lighting to the room. I always like when lights are hung together at a different hights to give that depth.
Having travelled in Thailand, I am always weary of local restos claiming to have authentic Thai cuisine, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the respresentation of regional thai dishes at Pamika. Each dish was masterfully prepared with a variety of typical (& even not so typical) thai flavors. Spice level was well considered. Portions are not huge, but just enough to share amongst two people & be satisfied. My favorite was their scallop dish as well as their mango sticky rice dessert. I have found my new favorite Thai resto in Montreal!

My friend & I dined at Pamika Thai for dinner & decided to go with the Chef's Choice, meaning we'd eat whatever was placed in front of us. At first, things went really well - the appetizers were tasty & the salads were amazing.
Unfortunately, once the restaurant got busy, we felt a bit ignored. The server barely came by, even though we were trying to get their attention. Our first appetizer arrived at 7:00, but we waited about 1 hour & 20 minutes before our entrées finally came out.
The entrées themselves were disappointing. The seafood curry had just 2 prawns & 4 mussels for two people, & the wagyu fried rice was so tough that we were chewing for minutes. For the wait & the hype, it simply wasn't worth it.
The environment & atmosphere were great, but overall the food quality & service didn't live up to expectations. I came in with high hopes, but sadly left underwhelmed.
The décor was beautiful, & the atmosphere had a great vibe.
My favorite dish was the Phra Ta Pow-flavorful & perfectly spicy. The Tilapia also is a much try. Crispy & tender.
The Tom Yum, however, arrived a little cold, so I'll be sure to ask for it warmed up next time.
Other than that, everything was excellent. The service was outstanding, & the staff were all so welcoming. A special thanks to Ioan for the wonderful service!
Very lovely place, the decor is unique & elegant, the staff is very attentive & the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered specifically very spicy dishes: Pad Kra Prao & Pad Kee Mao & they did not disappoint. The food was excellent & very spicy! We picked this place specifically for the reviews mentioning that a spicy meal is genuinely spicy which is something that is harder to find in Montreal where all spicy dishes are mostly mild. So if you are a fan of spicy food & want to try a real spicy Thai food this is the place. Alternatively they also have non spicy dishes so it will appeal to any level of spice lovers.

Amazing experience! The food was excellent, the drinks as well. Our waiter was very attentive & nice. Would go back any day!
We were seated at the terrasse, but the interior design of the place is super nice. It's this rich, mysterious dark cocoon that pulls you in. I enjoyed everything about the place.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Two of our four dishes arrived, & we had to complain twice before the other two finally showed up-15 minutes later-by which time the first two were already cold. Not only was the service slow & disorganized, but the staff didn't offer a single apology & came off as rude & dismissive when we asked about our missing food. Absolutely unacceptable for a place that claims to offer quality service. We won't be coming back.
Food & service were great. The presentation of the dishes was aesthetic, portions are on the smaller side. I think there are a few Thai places better than this place however.
Went to Pamika again on my short visit to Montreal! Amazing food, tasty cocktails, & excellent service! The seafood curry is to die for! Highly recommend!!
Food was tasty. Selected wine was not available which was disappointing. Service was lacking (empty water glasses for most of the meal) . Lastly, I was not given the seasonal menu. When I inquired about scallops being served to another table at the end, I was told they are on the seasonal menu. When the server looked at my menu & discovered mine did not have one , I was only told'well you can come back'. I would have loved to try the specials as they seemed above & beyond but sadly never got the chance. We (kids & I) are visiting & this was quite disappointing given the myriad other options available in town. I will say our food was good but the service put a negative spin on the experience.
