I was there on a first date & it was a beautiful experience. The waiter was really sweet & respectful . The service on point . We had the Greek salad 🥗 with octopus 🐙 & sausage. The food was amazing & seriously hit the spot . The mojito 🍹 🍸 mocktail was unbelievable & on point . My date was great he was funny 😁 but I just wished he was a bit more respectful 🙏 as sometimes what came out of his mouth seemed a little rude . Though this is not about my date & about this establishment for me it was amazing. Would I go back ? Yes ! 100% . So kudos on this establishment & its staff . This was an experience I would definitely do again & would be a great pick for my next date too 😉. Eat , be happy 😊 & enjoy life & all its offerings 🫴 🥰😍
The Ouzeri on St Denis is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I have been coming here for 25 yrs & it never disappoints.
The Pikilia platter as an appetizer is to die for. Then you have to order the Saganaki, Beef Martini, Lamb feta, as well the beet salad, grilled octopus etc… to name a few.
This place if why Montreal is such a great culinary powerhouse. Great food at a reasonable price. Anybody can pay a fortune to get good food. It takes a city with depth to find amazing restaurants that are reasonably priced. Enjoy.

Have been going for over 20 years.. don't live in town anymore.. was there one year ago every thing was excellent.. was there Saturday night.. service was very slow & distracted… food was massively disappointing.. party of 8 & most dishes lacked flavour.. example my salad had drips for dressing - lacked flavour.. mussels had no seasoning.. tzatziki was bland.. pita bread had no flavour.. mushroom & octopus apps were slimy & just yuck… the one dish that was good was the grilled calamari.. hope they get it back together..
Our takeout from Ouzeri, nestled on Saint Denis Street in Montreal, was a flavorful success. Known for its authentic Greek vibe, this place feels like a slice of the Mediterranean in the heart of the city. We kicked things off with a trio of appetizers-standout shoutout to the eggplant dish, which was a hit. The lamb chops? A universal favorite in our group. Even the kids got in on the fun, loving the side order of rice, while the garden salad brought a refreshing finish. Despite the dinner rush (it's definitely a busy spot for dine-in), the takeout process was smooth, & the food arrived fresh & full of flavor. It's clear why this spot has a reputation for both its casual, lively vibe & quality eats. 5/5-this place is firmly on our revisit list.
Beaucoup beaucoup trop salé malheureusement. Impossible de goûter/apprécier les moules dans un plat & les pétoncles dans l'autre. Trop d'aliments mélangés dans les plats. Bon après 1 ou 2 bouchées, mais pas appréciable par la suite. À trop vouloir mettre de trucs, on gâche le plat. Salade d'artichauds bonne mais bcp trop froide. J'ai fait le commentaire au sympa serveur au sujet du "salé" (par dessus le feta!) qui gachait surtout 1 des 2 assiettes par transparence & pour du feedback constructif, & non pas pour l'enlever de la facture,.. quoi qu'en rétrospect, ça aurait été apprécié. Nous n'y retournerons pas à moins que cela change drastiquement. Merci.
I've been here a few times over the years. Food has always been good but I'm sad to say their prices compared to other restaurants today don't make sense. The smallest salad I've perhaps ever seen in any restaurant was 22$. I've ordered calamari at 50 Montreal restaurants, theirs is very good but the portion size compared to other good calamari is maybe 20% less at that price. We could have gone to a higher class restaurant & ordered 7 courses at this price because we ordered a few dishes to make up for the quantity. Excellent atmosphere. It would still be one of my favorite restaurants if the prices were maybe 20% lower to match other competitors.
Been here 3 times now, & would highly recommend it. Delicious & fresh food - feta lamb, grilled calamari & the orange salad are just a few of the dishes I would suggest. Reasonably priced. The drawback is the below average service, with slow & rude waitresses.
J'ai découvert ce resto le 1er juin dernier grâce à un groupe d'amis qui avait réservé l'établissement "after hours" pour notre souper célébration de fin de spectacle. Vous dire combien j'ai apprécié! Tzaziki, calmars frits, salade grecque, bon vin... tout était délicieux & servi par Paul, un serveur gentil, drôle, attentif, charismatique. Ce soir, c'était notre spectacle de Noël & nous y sommes retournés "after hours". Encore une fois, le personnel a été formidable & j'ai à nouveau été servi par Paul qui, avec l'aide de ses quatre ou cinq collègues, s'est assuré que la quarantaine de convives que nous étions étaient bien servis & heureux. Quel resto merveilleux! J'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner.
