We loved this perfect little Japanese bar/restaurant. The food is authentic & not expensive. They have a very reasonably priced selection of drinks, including cocktails.
We liked the polite & attentive staff, good house music soundtrack & the relaxing atmosphere. This is a good place to eat or just to have some drinks before going clubbing later. I really wish this was my local!
Excellent !! Les yakitoris sont délicieux, on sent que les produits sont de qualités. J'ai deja hate d'y retourner, je recommande ce restaurant !
Absolutely delicious food, slow service but still 5 stars--I'll remember the liver skewers for a long time after this.
The cozy ambiance of the establishment immediately makes you feel welcome. The extensive menu offers a delightful array of small plates, perfect for sharing. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients & obvious care, showcasing expert culinary skills. The service is attentive & friendly, enhancing the overall experience for every customer. Ultimately, a visit to this restaurant promises a memorable & enjoyable culinary journey.
Les prix ne correspondent pas, bien trop cher pour des plats trop salés, ça ne donne pas envie d y retourne
The skewers were juicy & flavorful.
Service was average.
The interiors were nice inside, but the music inside could've been better. I wasn't a fan of the dance club music inside, I would've gone for more quaint quiet music, imo.
Great food, excellent service & nicely decorated restaurant. The bao buns were my favourite dish, the buns are nice & soft & the filling was very flavourful.
Came last Sunday, first time eating there & def wont be the last. Food was amazing, nice ambiance & amazing service by tattoo girl.
Waitress ruined a good experience. We ordered a bunch of different skewers. They forgot to give us 2 mushrooms skewers which was fine. We let them know we didn't receive them when we asked for our bill. They refused to take it off & basically accused us of eating & forgetting. It's not even about the price because it was an extra $5 bucks on a bill of $170. It was the fact she thought we don't know what mushrooms look & taste like. Good food but lots of other similar options in Montreal with likely better service. Will not be returning.
The best & most authentic Izakaya vibe Montreal. Always have a good time here & I've been here ever since it's opening probably 10 years ago. Service food drinks are great & fairly priced for that level of quality.
Went with a group of six & were sat right away, however it took a while for the server to come & take our order. When he finally came by, we ordered food & he didn't suggest a larger portion size seeing as we were six people. Albeit, we could've asked for how much food to expect for what we ordered, but we didn't expect to have to wait 30 minutes for 4 skewers, & another 30 minutes for the server to check up on us so we could order more food. This trend repeated itself over & what could've been a quick hour & a half meal turned into 3 hours of waiting for the server to stop taking shots at the bar & see us, just for us to leave hungry. I would not recommend this place at all. The chicken thighs were crazy good though
Ordered a bunch of skewers & the only noteworthy ones were the short ribs & chicken thigh with green onion. The short rib had the best char. The chicken thigh, chicken wing, unagi, beef tongue were all very bland.
Beautiful place but the skewers did not have flavour. It lacked salt. The short ribs were Smokey & good & the karaage was tender. The gyu don barely had any beef, like 9(?) slices.
Ordered the Otto set, beef tongue & truffle karrage. The yakitori was very plain, not much flavour. Beef tongue was super chewy. The karrage was good but it had no truffle flavour. Would just recommend getting normal karrage.
I had a great experience overall. The yakitori is delicious: masterfully prepared. The servers were efficient & pleasant.
