Nice option for lunches with bring your own wine. They have three lunch menus that you can get before the dinner menu. First, you can create your own pasta for about 15 dollars. The second they have a new option of make your own bowl like poulet rouge style bowl for 15 dollars, extra to add protein. The last is their regular menu. It's a good cheaper option for lunch. Their chocolate mousse was delightfully decadent but the true star are their beignets, fluffy inside, crispy outside with cinnamon sugar & a delicious sauce. A really winner, must try!
I brought our family to the Ottavio St-Laurent location on Marcel-Laurin on a Tuesday evening & left with a very disappointed experience.
The service throughout the evening was poor. My husband ordered the veal & specifically requested the cream sauce, but it arrived with a different sauce. The bread, which used to be warm & fresh, was served cold & tasted stale.
My daughter & I both ordered the tartare, which was advertised with a 1/2 price for ladies on Tuesdays. We later discovered that we had been charged full price for both meals, resulting in an overcharge of $45. When I returned the next day to request a refund, instead of resolving what seemed to be a straightforward billing error, I was asked to leave my phone number & call back later after an'investigation.'
The $45 is not the real issue, I got it back after waiting in the restaurant for about 20 minutes. Mistakes happen. What matters is how they are handled. Between the billing error, poor service, declining food quality, & management's response, this experience has convinced me not to return.
Service was very good, however when we asked to adjust the veal dish due to allergy problems the waitress was very helpful BUT the kitchen was just creative - they washed the original sauce off the meat & served it with a different sauce on the side! When we sent it back & ordered something else we were told we would still have to pay for the first item even though we sent it back. Very poor management!.

Great pasta & pizza definitely worth a visit.
The Tortellini Gigi was enjoyable; the rosé sauce had a lovely, velvety consistency & the meat was flavourful, though the dish could use just a touch more punch to really elevate it. The meatballs were on the smaller side & a bit different from the usual style, but surprisingly tasty.
The Carnivore pizza was the standout. Generous, wellseasoned meat toppings & great overall flavour made it a highlight of the meal.
L'entrée était bonne, tout avait bon goût. Mon repas principal manquait de goût par contre. La sauce était très (trop) liquide. Belle décoration & belle ambiance. Un peu dispendieux par contre. Beaucoup de choix sur le menu.
Plusieurs points à soulignés suite à notre visite. Travaillant dans l'industrie, le service était mauvais. Manque d'attention énorme à la table. Aucun débarassage, manque d'ustensiles. Ça a pris trois personnes & au moins 20 minutes afin de débarasser l'entiereté de la table à la fin de nos repas. On a dû faire signe pour avoir du service à plusieurs reprises (par exemple, personne ne nous a proposé pour les boissons au début & personne est venu nous voir pour les desserts/cafés à la fin). Notre commande avait plusieurs erreurs (mauvais tartare, mauvais accompagnements avec certains plats, moules arrivées complètement froides à table).
Les suiteurs parlaient en arrière au lieu de venir nettoyer. La serveuse ne venait pas nous voir.
Nos plats étaient décevants. Le veau de lait avait l'air d'un plat en sauce avec des spaghetti avec sauce tomate en canne. Les cubes du tartare de thon étaient immenses.
Personne de méchant, mais très décevant.
Il manque juste beaucoup de détails au niveau du service & de la nourriture pour que ce soit simplement agréable de manger à ce restaurant. Je déconseille fortement.

The muscles were very fresh & nice & big. I would have preferred a thicker sauce mine was like water (not enough constancy to attach to the muscles)

We literally went after 20min that opened & was amazing. I love the decoration, atmosphere & service, our waiter was very nice. & now, let's talk about food: 1. The calamari was delicious, it was cooked so perfect that I could say that melts in your mouth in a delightful way. Also, I never like the sauce & this one was delicious! 2. I ordered the pizza with all the mushrooms (like the picture) & was very tasty. Hubby asked for the pasta with seafood & he was very happy. 3. The crème brûlée 🍮 9/10 THEY DON'T SERVE ALCOHOL SO IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOT FORGET YOUR WINE/DRINK.
J'ai pris un plat de pâtes Alfredo sans gluten. La sauce était très bonne mais j'ai été déçue de voir qu'il n'y avait aucun légume ni aucune forme de viande, pincettes, bacon ou autre. Pour le prix juste pâtes & sauce, ça me paraît exagéré
