I brought our family to the Ottavio St-Laurent location on Marcel-Laurin on a Tuesday evening & left with a very disappointed experience.

The service throughout the evening was poor. My husband ordered the veal & specifically requested the cream sauce, but it arrived with a different sauce. The bread, which used to be warm & fresh, was served cold & tasted stale.

My daughter & I both ordered the tartare, which was advertised with a 1/2 price for ladies on Tuesdays. We later discovered that we had been charged full price for both meals, resulting in an overcharge of $45. When I returned the next day to request a refund, instead of resolving what seemed to be a straightforward billing error, I was asked to leave my phone number & call back later after an'investigation.'

The $45 is not the real issue, I got it back after waiting in the restaurant for about 20 minutes. Mistakes happen. What matters is how they are handled. Between the billing error, poor service, declining food quality, & management's response, this experience has convinced me not to return.

J'ai commandé un Club Sandwich. Après en avoir mangé le tiers, je le trouvais sec. En regardant de plus près : il n'y avait aucune trace de mayonnaise !!!

Service was very good, however when we asked to adjust the veal dish due to allergy problems the waitress was very helpful BUT the kitchen was just creative - they washed the original sauce off the meat & served it with a different sauce on the side! When we sent it back & ordered something else we were told we would still have to pay for the first item even though we sent it back. Very poor management!.

Disappointing service - Started with promise, but the damage is done.
?I arrived to a very busy & noisy restaurant, but I was able to get a seat & place my order right away without any issues. At first, everything was going great. My drink & appetizer were served quickly, & I was genuinely happy with the start of my evening.
?Unfortunately, everything fell apart after that. After finishing my appetizer, I sat waiting for my main meal for over 30 minutes. The service staff seemed completely lost. A female server eventually came to my table out of nowhere just to wonder if anyone had even taken my order yet. To make matters worse, the original server who actually took my order never bothered to come back, check on me, or offer any sort of update or additional drinks.
?While the food was finally served 50 minutes after my appetizer, it came way too late. The initial great impression was completely ruined by the lack of care & disorganized staff. It's a shame because it started off so well, but the damage was done. I left feeling highly disappointed & sadly left just a 10% tip.
