Origine Brass appears in reviews as a lively brewpub that pairs standout craft beers with inventive pizzas and a welcoming, attentive staff. The beer list is praised for its range and quality, from bright IPAs to malty options, and every pour is described as well balanced and served at the right temperature. Food receives high praise too, with fresh sourdough pizzas stealing the show, especially crusts that are thin, blistered and chewy, and toppings that complement the drinks perfectly; wings, nachos, jerk shrimp, and a highly recommended fried chicken sandwich also appear in many visits. The atmosphere mixes industrial chic with warmth, a large space with high ceilings that stays comfortable for groups and solo visitors alike, plus an open kitchen that adds to the experience. Service is repeatedly highlighted as warm, friendly and attentive, making guests feel welcome and valued, and the venue is noted for being versatile for casual meals, celebrations, and game nights, with events like trivia and bingo enhancing the vibe. While some nights may feature lively music that is a bit loud, the overall experience is described as great value with fair prices and consistent quality that keeps people returning.
We loved this place! Both the beer & food were excellent & the service was fantastic as well. I'm partial to IPAs & they had four excellent options when I was there. I also tried a very good Irish Stout. We tried two different pizzas & poutine & I woild recommend all three.
Great place for a super lunch or dinner at reasonable prices....the craft beer is the best in the city....& the sour dough pizza is better than in Italy!!
The food is delicious & the beer variety is great. The vibes are immaculate trendy industrial chic, in a laid-back attitude. The prices are very reasonable for the great quality, & even moreso during hockey nights. Highly recommended hidden gem in Pointe-Claire!
We were there for a bachelors party, vibes were immaculate, special shoutout to our servers Kevin & Justin for contributing to a great night
Food was on point & there was a great variety of beer.
Would go again
This brewpub is a great place to enjoy craft beers, offering a wide variety of house?brewed selections. The food is good, featuring a menu of pub classics that go with the diverse range of brews. the staff is very friendly & welcoming.
Had the pleasure of hosting my birthday here, & even with 16 people they accommodated us perfectly. Jasmine helped me out with all my questions.
I asked for them to set us up to watch the hockey game & they did.
The beer & cocktails were great
& the food, absolutely delicious. Every person enjoyed their meals. It also all came out with not much delay. Loved the open kitchen concept.
Not to mention it is so fairly priced.
Overall a 10/10 experience & will 100% be back.

Pizza was delicious nachos were ok,Im not a beer guy but my friends said beer is very good & it was a good deal 25$ for a pie & a beer. Service was on point. We will be back for a burger!!
If I could give more than five stars, I would. Origine Brass is the kind of place that redefines what a local microbrewery & restaurant can be. Stylish but warm, modern without losing its soul. It hums with that quiet confidence of a place that knows exactly who it is & what it's doing.
We started simple: wings & nachos. The wings were solid, crispy, well-seasoned, & paired perfectly with the first round of IPA. Not life-changing, but satisfying. The nachos were better than most, piled high with fresh toppings & cheese that actually stretches. Then came the pizza, & everything changed.
The Champignon Pizza was pure magic. I have eaten pizza across Europe & North America, from Naples to San Francisco, from small trattorias tucked into cobbled Italian alleys to wood-fired gems in Montréal & Portland. This one belongs in the top three of my life. The crust was impossibly thin yet chewy in all the right ways, blistered at the edges & soft at the core, with that subtle flavor that only comes from a dough that has been given time & care. The topping was loaded with wild, aromatic mushrooms, fresh herbs, & a drizzle of olive oil that tasted like the Mediterranean sun itself. Every bite offered a perfect balance of earthiness, salt, & heat. Only in small coastal villages of Italy have I tasted anything quite like it.
The beer list reads like a love letter to craft brewing. Bright, hoppy IPAs that sing, malty ambers that ground you, & a stout that feels like dessert without being heavy-handed. I was hoping for a sour, but none were on tap that day. It hardly mattered. Every pour was clean, balanced, & served at the perfect temperature.
Service was effortless & friendly, the kind that makes you feel like a regular by the end of the night. The staff seem genuinely proud of what they are serving, & they have every reason to be. The atmosphere ties it all together, a mix of industrial chic & soft lighting, with music & conversation blending just right.
I travel often for work, & food is one of the ways I get to know a place. Origine Brass tells a story of Montréal at its best: creative, confident, unpretentious, & rooted in quality. That pizza alone will stay with me for years. If you love good food & honest craftsmanship, this is the place.

Fantastic Brew pub with a great atmosphere & even better food!! Highly recommended if you are in the area, & they have seasonal pumpkin beer right now that is to die for!!! 😋
We had our high school reunion here this summer. Even though we were around 30 people, the service was top notch. A great selection of beer, full bar & food. The space is beautiful & clean.
Thanks again, everyone had a great time.
Nice hidden gem in the west island serving up a large offering of craft beers. Large selection of cocktails. Hands down the best Fried Chicken sandwich in Montreal. 2 pieces of crispy, juicy fried chicken, perfect amount of toppings & a zingy buffalo sauce. Highly recommend!
Excellent beer! Good food. Nice find!
'Origine Brass' literally popped up on Maps at the last-minute of searching for supper...& really liked it.
Nice choice of beers to suit all palates.
Take the time to browse the menu & try some apps: Jerk Shrimp was tender & flavourful; jalapeno croquettes were a surprise with the fluffy potato filling.
Colleague had the chicken sandwich & it looked (& supposedly tasted) great. Lots of crunchy chicken with right amount of fillings.
Pizza (Pesto + Prosciutto) was a hit!
Okay now for the opportunity for improvement: we were there when they had a DJ minding the music. Way too loud! If not for the cool layout of the restaurant with high ceilings, we would not have been able to hear conversations. Other patrons'complained' but little change in volume.
