We had dinner at this restaurant last night & were absolutely charmed not only by the delicious food, but also by the warm & welcoming atmosphere.
The owner's kindness & genuine hospitality were simply extraordinary. She has a beautiful way of making everyone feel comfortable & at home. You can truly feel the family spirit behind the restaurant, & that's what makes this place so unique & special.
The Greek salad was absolutely delicious, & the fish was cooked to perfection fresh, flavorful, & perfectly prepared.
It's more than just a restaurant; it feels like a place where family, passion, & good food come together. A truly special experience that we highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back!
I was not keen on ever leaving a review. Anywhere. But tonight is an exception. My wife & I & our two children were strolling through the old port of montreal on holiday & wanted to have greek. Coming from the U.K, greek food, unless in greece is a hit or miss for us. Not tonight. We were welcomed by a cordial, warm staff. Our server, Steve, went above & beyond. We told him that we were in a rush & he got the message. He recommended this wonderful greek fish & the lamb chops & seeing I'm not a wine person, he paired it perfectly with a beer called mylos. The service & food recommended were perfect. I will make it a point to visit again once were back. & we will be back. As Steve said. Kali Orexi.
We had been wanting to try this new Greek restaurant in the Old Port since it opened, & finally had the chance to go tonight with friends. Having just come back from Greece a week ago, we weren't sure what to expect-but we were pleasantly surprised.
The flavours were truly authentic, to the point where we almost felt like we were still in Greece. Even though we only tried a few items from the menu, greek salad, tzatziki, tyrokafteri, octopus, calamari, etc. everything was excellent. The fish-**Fagri (white fish)**-was perfectly deboned & absolutely delicious. The loukoumades were also very well done & a great way to finish the meal.
Everything was nicely presented, & the overall experience was very enjoyable. We're already looking forward to going back to try more of the menu.

We stopped into Orexi in Old Montreal & had an incredible experience. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with historic exposed stone walls & all the character you'd hope to find in one of Old Montreal's heritage buildings.
Even though the weather was perfect & the outdoor patio was tempting, we chose to sit inside so we could fully take in the charm of the restaurant. It was definitely the right choice.
I ordered the roasted lamb shank with potatoes & vegetables, & it was outstanding. The lamb was cooked perfectly-so tender it fell apart with a fork & practically melted in my mouth. My husband had the rigatoni, which was also excellent.
What really elevated the evening was the hospitality. Peter took exceptional care of us & struck that rare balance that great hosts have. He spent time chatting with us throughout the evening, but only when he could tell we were interested in the conversation. He knew exactly when to engage & when to step back & let us enjoy our meal. It made the experience feel personal without ever feeling intrusive.
You can tell Peter & the team are genuinely proud of what they've created. The combination of authentic Greek cuisine, the historic Old Montreal setting, & genuine hospitality made for a memorable evening.
If you're visiting Old Montreal, I highly recommend making a stop at Orexi. Great food, great atmosphere, & great people. We will definitely be back.
Excellent meal for our first night in Montreal, some of the best Greek food I've had in a while. I particularly recommend the Orexi special, the chips were perfectly cooked & & worked really well with the tzatzikj. The calamari was also top tier, but honestly every dish was very good, & the service was great too.
Such a great experience -easily one of the best new Greek Restaurants around. Huge thank you to Panagioti & his amazing smile as well as the amazing staff for their warm hospitality. Compliments to the chef & the kitchen team for absolute perfection.
Our table of four shared the octopus which was tender & perfectly grilled, the steak cooked exactly right, & the fish was fresh & beautifully seasoned. The zucchini chips were dangerously addictive, especially the vodka rigatoni, OH YEAH!

This hidden gem in Old Montreal is an absolute must-visit.
We started with one of their specialty cocktails-perfectly balanced between sweet & sour (brandy, passion fruit, & ginger beer), & easily one of their standout signature drinks.
The evening began with a couple of sides, including chopped & Greek salads, followed by a perfectly grilled octopus that was a total hit.
For the main course, the Mediterranean sea bass was beautifully flavorful & paired wonderfully with grilled vegetables & lima beans-everything was equally delicious.
We ended the night on a high note with incredible desserts: honey balls drizzled with Nutella, black cherry yogurt, & their famous baklava.
A special thank you to Peter, our waiter, who was extremely attentive & guided us through the menu with excellent recommendations.
