Food was quite delicious! We started with grilled octopus, moussaka croquettes, & the orexi special (fried zucchini & eggplant). The croquettes were especially good & a very cool interpretation of the classic greek dish. As a main, we shared oysters, a grilled med sea bass, tiger shrimps, lamb chops, & a greek salad; all of which were cooked to perfection & very tasty! Baklava for dessert was a little soggy but still delicious, loukoumades were also great. I would have given a 5-star review but I found that the service was just a bit slow, we were 6 people & dinner lasted almost 4 hours, which felt a little drawn out.
If you haven't had a chance to try Restaurant Orexi Estiatorio in Old Montreal, then go soon!! You'll be VERY happy you did. Some of the best Greek food we've had anywhere, Greece included! BEST grilled octopus in Montreal hands down.. lamb chops were perfect! Desserts are made in house!!
