The food is just great with amazing cocktails, their'now you see me cocktail' is just a banger. The ambience is a 11/10 feels cozy, lively & calm. Such an amazing place run by people passionate about what they.
Kind patient service, delicious food, communication & nice environment. I feel the higher price for the meal is justified as it does taste premium with servers to match. I definitely would come again.
I had the lamb spring roll which tastes fine with delicious sauces but wouldn't recommend. It is much too hard & not as tasty as all other food that was great.
It would have been nice to have A/C in the place instead of the loud fan, but perhaps I'm being too particular at this point. Either way, love this place.
We visited Oorja on May 17th for dinner. We were visiting Montreal & went there after reading the reviews online. The food was such a disappointment. It was no where close to Indo-Chinese or Hakka.
The Gobi bites were very salty & oily. The sides portion was way too less & we were told that mains are shareable so we ordered only a few mains to share & very highly disappointed. The veg manchurian was undercooked & the side fried rice with it was too oily. The only dish that was okay was Majestic chicken but it had regional Indian flavours rather than being Hakka. The food took a long time to arrive. Overall not a good experience.
C'était super! J'y suis allée deux fois à date. J'ai essayé des plats & cocktails différents à chaque fois & tout était délicieux (rouleaux à l'agneau, moules au curry, bouchées de chou-fleur, poulet au chili, poisson apollo)!
The food was really good but the service is lacking. Waiter was nice & sweet but forgot multiple times our requests & orders. For ex. forgot our mocktails, forgot to refill the water, forgot to give a receipt. Really no checkups. Would give a 5/5 if that is improved on.
This place is outstanding. Visiting from Boston. May have converted my husband & sister to Indian food. The tikka (can't remember the rest of the name-it was a vegetarian small plate) was scrumptious. Biryana was wonderful as well. The hostess was so warm & lovely. Highly recommend.
SUCH WASTE OF MONEY
First of all nobody answers the call , i have called many times nobody respond. On the top of that, we ordered from ubereats Chicken lolipop & schezwan noodles but what we recieved we didnt expected.
Last time we ordered Chicken lolipop we recieved 6 pieces but now it was only 4 pieces with very minimal meat on it & with such sweetness, what are we gonna eat when there is no meat on it. I dont know what did they thought while sending it.
Talking about the noodles very very less quantity, taste was okay but quantity didnt match the price at all.
On the top, they provide you food in a paperbox with no butterpaper on the bottom, boxes got so oily until it reached us. We dont even want to eat it as now its giving a smell like paper.
I highly dont recommend this place.
I ordered veg noodles the quantity was to low than expected & chicken lollipop it was just 4 pieces with no chicken for 15$ something
I don't recommend this place not worth for 34$ for a small bowl of noodles & 4piece of bone which has almost no meat
Skip this place's
We really enjoyed the food there! The ghee garlic shrimp & fried oyster mushrooms were sooo good. We also had the lamb with beans, which was really delicious too. I wanted to try their chicken momos, but unfortunately they didn't have it. We'll definitely go back to try more. Oh, & the red bean ice cream sandwiches are a must-try!
