We visited Ooh! Crabe with friends after a strong recommendation, & wow-what an amazing choice. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, & genuinely welcoming. The owner is incredibly friendly & makes you feel right at home.
We ordered two King Boils, one with the Cajun sauce & one with the home sauce & both were bursting with flavor. The seafood was unbelievably fresh, with a generous selection of shrimp, mussels, lobster tail, sausage, corn, potatoes, & perfectly cooked white rice. The portions were abundant, & every bite was delicious. We also tried the Cajun fries on the side, & they were fantastic.
The ambiance is great, the location is convenient, & there's plenty of parking, which is always a bonus. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Whether you're nearby or coming from out of the way, Ooh! Crabe is absolutely worth the trip. We will definitely be back!
My bf & I shared the giant seafood boil at Ooh! Crabe & oh boy, it was SO good! We were the only ones at the restaurant as it was a weeknight so service was fast. Both host & server were so kind. The restaurant is also very clean & organized. Definitely recommend!
I had an amazing experience at Ooh Crabe! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm & inviting, with a lively vibe that instantly made me feel at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, & quick to make great recommendations.
The food was the real star of the night. The crab was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, & bursting with flavor. I loved the variety of sauces & spice levels-there's truly something for everyone, whether you like a little kick or something more mild. The sides complemented the seafood beautifully, & everything was served hot & generously portioned.
What really stood out was the attention to detail-not just in the food, but in the service & presentation as well. It's clear that the team here takes pride in what they do.
If you're a seafood lover (or even just looking to try something new), I can't recommend Ooh Crabe enough. I'll definitely be coming back! 🦀✨
The seafood boil was amazing! Seriously, from the calamari to the shrimp & corn, it's gotta be one of the best in Montreal. The lobster was super good too, perfectly cooked & juicy.The staff were super friendly, adding to the fantastic experience, highly recommend.

I am here with my mom for Mothers day & this is a gem I found ! Service is impeccable & food is sooo good, I will definitely recommend the experience if you love seafood ! This is the place to be to enjoy , shrimp, lobster & good seafood! Thank you so much we had an awesome time!

We accidentally discovered this restaurant. The high Google reviews caught my attention, but the photos didn't seem to justify the ratings-the food lacked that signature seafood boil appeal. Still, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my gut feeling was right; the place felt overrated, possibly due to inflated reviews. For context, I've enjoyed seafood boils in California, Hawaii, & Houston-some of the best places for this cuisine. Now in Montreal, I had low but realistic expectations for Ooh Crab, & it still disappointed. Upon entering, we were greeted by a host (likely the owner) who seemed disinterested, spending most of his time on his phone. You're required to order, pay, & tip before receiving any service, which made the experience feel very transactional. As others have mentioned, no water is offered-you have to purchase bottled water. It seems they aim to avoid doing dishes since everything is disposable except for the cutlery, which I suppose is a smart move operationally. We ordered the Jumbo Mix for with rice & potatoes. Sensing it wouldn't be enough, we added the fried calamari with shrimp, totaling nearly $100 before taxes & tip. The shrimp & rice were good, but the lobster tail was overcooked & had noticeably shrunk. The crab legs were small, frozen, & also overcooked. Clearly most of the seafood served were frozen. The only decent dish was the fried calamari & shrimp, which is hard to mess up. We tried to make the most of it, but I would pass on returning. At this price point, there are too many better options out there.
We ordered the ooh crabe mix platter (seafood boil) for pick up tonight. So good! Yussef was very helpful during my phone call (full of questions) for our order. Will return.
Ooh Crabe is a seafood lover's dream! The crabs are perfectly seasoned, tender, & full of flavor. The garlic butter shrimp & fried crawfish are also outstanding. The staff is friendly, & the atmosphere is casual & fun. Highly recommend for anyone craving fresh, delicious seafood!
The best seafood in town!! Great meal, staff are very pleasant. friendly staff who are serving the customer. Fresh seafood comes with the choice of your sauce. Cant wait to bring more friends here
Best seafood place ever, we took the jumbo mix with extra lobster tail & crawfish, with sausage & egg add on with the cajun sauce with mild spice & it was so good, we were two that ate some & they're still some left. They gave us extra sauce & the bag to reheat the rest at home. Very good service. We'll definitely be back!

Last nights Tuesday fish & chips meal with calamari was perfect comfort meal. Light crispy batter, plenty of fries & great calamari. Went there Saturday for a great dinner. Very enjoyable seafood mix. Good value. Great Cajun boil #3, large plate enough for two persons, chose mild Cajun because of wife, very tasty with just enough spiceyness. Mussels & huge shrimps also came with sides of rice, patatoes & corn. Reasonable price we have been back several times now, a great place to eat. Thank you owner Yosef
