While the rice, beef & chicken were very tasty, I was extremely disappointed in the amount of beef included in the bowl. I did see the menu included adding 40g of beef for an extra cost, but I did not even receive this amount of beef in my order, which does not seem right to me. This does not seem like a fair value, & I will not be ordering this again.
The Onigiri (Japanese Rice Ball shaped into a triangle) at Onigiri Shop Mile End was good. Would definitely recommend if craving a good onigiri in the Montreal, QC area.
The Fuji Mountain Onigiri (fresh salmon, kanikama (crab stick), shrimp, avocado, kelp, grilled cheese, egg yolks, furikake, & tempura) was delicious & filling. The assortment of seafood, egg yolk, veggies, & sauce work wonderfully in this onigiri.
The Beef-Tama Onigiri (miso marinated beef, egg yolk & green onion) was good. The beef was flavourful & delicious.
Of the two onigiris, we liked the Fuji Mountain Ongiri the best :)
