Best Onigiri in Montreal, without a doubt. Affordable & delicious every time Nice small shop that offers a quality Onigiri experience with enough menu variety to please everyone.
The usual sushi fish type options seemed popular & they have a delicious Korean Friend Chicken & Miso Beef Onigiri Onigiri as well.View more
My coworker & I decided to drop-by to get some lunch.
Very cute place, friendly staff & the onigiris were delish.
I took the beef tama & the fresh salmon one, they are bigger than the usual onigiris elsewhere, very filling & tasty!
I also took a small cucumber salad on the side. omg drools. i took the shrimp & crabstick as protein & sesame dressing as choice… soooo good. & refreshing.
2 onigiris + small salad costs me $20 something
beautiful lunch, def going backView more
First, amazing quality rice. I've been experimenting with Toyama & Hokkaido, but this shop's rice mouthfeel is great! Higher quality than some shops in Japan. The filling is plentiful, & their combos are great. Miso beef was slightly salty, hearty, & had a lot of rice & beef. The egg yolk beef was also a wonderful combination. The salmon was hearty & bountiful. The seaweed is also not soggy. I would come again. Though they may not be all jp, they did a good job working on their recipes. Better than some smaller jp shops I've been :)View more
I recently visited this place that shares its space with a sushi restaurant next door. The onigiri portions are generous for their size, & the prices are very affordable. I tried a few flavors: beef miso, cooked salmon, mixed salmon (fresh, cooked salmon & ikura), & eel. The flavors were okay overall, though I found the beef a bit too salty for my liking. One challenge was that the fillings tended to fall apart after the first bite, making them a bit tricky to eat. That said, I'm still intrigued & plan to go back to try more flavors next time. It's worth checking out if you're in the area & looking for a quick & budget-friendly bite!View more
Price from 3.99/each to 7.99 $/each. Today I ordered luxury salmon & Mount Fuji, after tax & tip it was nearly 20$, not cheap but the taste is quite good. After that, I tried fresh salmon (3.99 $) & tama beef (5.25 $). They are all good in general. Imo, you can order the luxury one when u want to treat yourself a bit fancier, but in general the classic one is already good enough. I do recommend the fresh salmon oneView more
Exploring new neighborhood for me & I saw this onigiri store from the outside with the banner said "starting from $3.99" & I couldn't resist to try & it's true. The basic onigiri, the tuna onigiri that I ordered was $3.99, but the thing that makes me surprised was with that price, the made a very good onigiri. The rice is good, the filling is generous, up until the bottom of the onigiri & almosy over the inside of the onigiri. I also ordered the beef tama onigiri, & their specialties, Mont-Royal, which cost a little bit pricier but still good & 3 of those onigiri enough to fill me for the whole day. The place on the other hand is really small & sometimes it can be crowded. On summer, there's an outside terrase, but on winter, I can see this place would be a little bit tight. Also there's a sushi store connected to the onigiri & you can order the sushi & eat in the onigiri place too.View more

Small cozy vibe that has outside table! I went there with my husband & the food was excellent ! Great portion, absolutely love the place ! Have a good varieties choice there to choose from, too bad is located a hour from us because we would most likely go there more often 😅 My husband absolutely love the beef & chicken one & I agreed with him 🫶 the seasoning was on point, we didn't need to add any extra sauce Located near to metro Villa-Maria on the orange line has a bus or we can walk few minutes to get to this place! Will come back for sure !! This is one of the best onigiri we've tried in montreal ! 💕View more
It's actually quite good. I was skeptical at first because of some reviews saying they got food poisoning, glad to know the staff corrected the hygiene. Prices are fair (between 3.99 & 5.75) & they really stuff it to the max : onigiris are big & filling. I bought 3 : korean chicken & tama, the salmon avocado & the beef. Definitely get the salmon & avocado & try a 2nd one. A perfect place for takeout lunch since the shop is quite small.View more
Food was good restaurant was small & packed very cheap food. I ate here with my girlfriend & we both ended up getting the worst stomach pain & spent hours in the bathroom (Keep in mind this is then only meal we shared that day).I'm not sure if it was the fish, chicken, beef, or rice but something really made us sick & I saw another review yesterday someone else had the same issue. I am an avid sushi eater. I eat it quite often & this is a first. Great staff very friendly but I ate this & some home cooked food. Good restaurant but most definitely got us sick.View more
