Omnivore est un nouveau restaurant de cuisine méditerranéenne au cœur du Mont-Royal. Il offre une atmosphère apaisante et des plats alléchants. Le menu diffère de salades herbivores à des assiettes carnivores. Gâtez-vous avec des sandwiches succulents et des «taouks» soigneusement grillés sur du charbon d'érable.

Best Lebanese food I've had. Everything in the cold mazze platter was amazing. Out carnivore platter was also amazing. That garlic sauce had unreal flavor. The space is really cool & the service was great. Couldn't recommend enough.
Djaj sandwich was really good , light garlic taste 👌
Beef sandwich was also perfect may be more sauce

I have been a loyal customer but recently the experience wasn't the same:
- telephonist girl could not speak French well, she should have switched to English already as soon as I spoke a few English words rather than trying hard the French. As I can adapt, she should stay comfortable in English if I hint to it if that's more efficient.
- the order took 19 minutes, I think it wasn't dispatched when I called & they started when I arrived. Usually this place was taking calls. I'm doubting. If this change is permanent to wait for customers to arrive, it is too long for me to consider this place compared to other restaurants for daily eating out. (20mins * 365 days * 2 orders per day = 240 hours per year waiting for food to be ready. I can't afford this time, this defeats the purpose of eating out - phone orders must work).
- When I order a'Thai wrap with peanut sauce', I expect the peanut sauce. The sauce was wrong the cook did a mistake. While I am used to Omnivore sometimes forgetting the peanut sauce in the wrap Thai, the fact it is still not there today adds up to communication errors & cook errors.
This review is temporary but is more for passing down feedback to improve. I may put 5 stars again later. In the meantime I'll rotate to other restaurants. Thank you nonetheless for the excellent food overall.
Oh, & while at it, sandwiches portions could be bigger. After a solo wrap I'm always still a bit hungry. More meat & stuff would totally do it. Yet, adding the extra potatoes with garlic is too big for a meal, & isn't cost effective for me to choose. Idea: two sizes for wraps could be cool like an extra 3$.
Les petites patates avec la sauce à l'ail sont tout simplement délicieuses & la portion est généreuse. Les sandwichs sont également très bons. Bon service & terrasse agréable. Il y'a des options végétariennes
A great place to visit for casual dinning Lebanese restaurant The Good: - The chicken skewer with plate was delicious with tender chicken cubes, generous fattoush salad & delicious garlic sauce, rice with lentils, & hummus all for just $22 - The Kebbes (Fried burgle ball crust filled with minced meat & pine nuts mix) were perfectly crispy & the hummus served with it complemented the flavors very well Things to Improve: - Hummus would be better if it was creamier & richer. The one we were server was a bit grainy & diluted a bit - Chicken skewer would be better if they were less salty & maybe with two more chicken cubes as I feel it was little for the plate
Ok this really pains me cause this is one of my favorite restaurants. But over the years, their portions have gotten incredibly small for take out, & the meat very dry. I was still hungry after a full plate meal & that was pretty unusual. Half the plate was quite literally the garlic sauce & hummus, & the other half was salad/rice/meat squeezed into the container. Maybe the container they use needs to be revisited, cause with the circle aluminum ones, I always felt satisfied & (so sorry to say this) not ripped off.
Overall, I've enjoyed the food very much in Montreal. This meal was really what I was craving. Both the chicken & beef were perfect to me, just the right texture, seasoning, & juiciness. The spicy garlic sauce makes a great compliment to both meats. The fattouche salad was a perfect tangy contrast to the savory & spicy of everything else. The lentil rice was good, with more than a hint of fennel. The hummus definitely tasted house made fresh & yummy, the only negative for me is a personal taste: one of the two hummus flavors had a chipotle taste.. I do not enjoy chipotle at all. I had to add a second picture once I discovered the little nest of pickled cabbage hidden on my plate.. it has such a vibrant color & such a unique flavor: a salty, vinegary tang that was such a good contrast to everything else on the plate. Highly recommend this place.
Awesome Lebanese food. Super friendly service. Nice music. Three of us shared a Carnivore plate with chicken & beef kabobs, hummus, babaganoush, garlic sauce, delicious rice, & a nice green salad. For dessert we shared the house made namoura & ma'amoul with tea. We loved this place! Will definitely be back.
The food was okay/good. I got a combo with a chicken wrap, a salad, & a lemonade. The salad tasted of too much vinegar but it was still okay. I got charged $3 for hot sauce on my bill but I was not informed of this fee when I asked.

That's a cute restaurant. The sandwich was good, & the spicy sauce with the potatot was spicy. There's a lot of vegan options. You can replace any meat with tofu or with végé paté & without extra fees. You must take something with the sandwich, otherwise the meal will be too small. We wait a little to receive the invoice, but overall, it's a great restaurant It's not a "coup de coeur," but it was good. Also, if you eat outside, they allow dogs, & they can bring them a bowl of water.
Client régulier grâce à Uber Essais récent du Sandwich Samac (poisson & chou) grâce à «coups de food» À mon humble avis, ça ne convient pas vraiment sous forme sandwich bien bien plus sous forme pure fish&chip Je ne sais pas s'il s'agit de la recette de base mais il y avait un brin trop de sauce si bien que j'avais l'impression de ne manger qu'un pita au chou & à la sauce 3.0/5 J'ai pris les autres truc habituels.. feuilles de vigne, taboulé, rien à dire...excellent
