Omnivore focuses on fresh, charcoal-grilled proteins served within traditional pita pockets or crisp salad bowls. The menu centers on staple Lebanese flavors, featuring marinated chicken shish taouk, spiced beef kafta, and crispy falafel seasoned with authentic herbs. Sides include creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, and tabbouleh prepared with fresh parsley and lemon. Customers order at the counter, selecting combinations of hearty grains, roasted vegetables, and house-made garlic sauce that define the brand identity. The environment emphasizes efficiency and speed, utilizing an open kitchen layout where the scent of grilled meats permeates the minimalist space. This establishment prioritizes the quality of raw ingredients, maintaining a consistent standard for Mediterranean street food favorites that favor bold, savory profiles over complex preparation techniques or formal table service traditions.
Omnivore is widely celebrated for its fresh, flavorful, and authentic Lebanese-inspired cuisine, with many diners highlighting the perfectly seasoned meats, vibrant vegetarian options, and standout dishes like the potatoes, hummus, and babaganoush. The restaurant provides a welcoming atmosphere, featuring a popular summer terrace and a relaxed interior that makes it a favorite for both casual meals and group gatherings. While the vast majority of guests enjoy quick, friendly service and consider the experience to be of excellent value, some customers have noted occasional inconsistencies with portion sizes, online ordering processes, and specific delivery details. Despite these minor operational challenges, the overwhelming consensus points to a high-quality dining destination that leaves visitors feeling satisfied and eager to return.
Great food & pretty good prices. We ordered the homemade lemonade, the babaganoush, & a dish with hummus, salad, & chicken, & everything was excellent. The terrace is great for summer, & the waitress was very friendly. Highly recommended.
If you are looking to enjoy middle eastern food in Montreal this one is one of the best I visited. The food was authentic, genuine!
The service was perfect!
the atmosphere was great!
& it is not expensive.
Highly recommended.
Really solid spot for fresh, flavorful Lebanese-inspired food right on St-Laurent. We started with the Assiette des Mezzos, which came with a great combination of their appetizers, everything was fresh, vibrant, & full of flavor. The Rouleaux aux Trois Fromages in particular were crispy, cheesy, & super satisfying.
For the main, we had the Carnivore Platter with an extra brochette on the side. The grilled meats were perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, & well-seasoned. The platter was the perfect amount for the two of us & a great combination of what they offer. The portions were generous & definitely left us full.
They offer both indoor & outdoor seating, which is great depending on the vibe you're looking for. The space inside is casual & clean with lots of room, & the patio is perfect for a sunny day or people-watching along St-Laurent. Service was quick & friendly, & prices were very fair for the quality.
Highly recommend if you're in the area & looking for something hearty, flavorful, & satisfying.

Bang for your buck! Such great sandwich & platter combos & every dish is delicious & packed with flavor. Would highly recommend, especially for vegetarians
This was such a good Lebanese place. Best hummus I've ever tried. Of note they do give a lot for an appetizer so it's very shareable. My friends got the wraps & they were delish. Highly recommend.
Overall, I've enjoyed the food very much in Montreal. This meal was really what I was craving. Both the chicken & beef were perfect to me, just the right texture, seasoning, & juiciness. The spicy garlic sauce makes a great compliment to both meats. The fattouche salad was a perfect tangy contrast to the savory & spicy of everything else. The lentil rice was good, with more than a hint of fennel. The hummus definitely tasted house made fresh & yummy, the only negative for me is a personal taste: one of the two hummus flavors had a chipotle taste.. I do not enjoy chipotle at all. I had to add a second picture once I discovered the little nest of pickled cabbage hidden on my plate.. it has such a vibrant color & such a unique flavor: a salty, vinegary tang that was such a good contrast to everything else on the plate. Highly recommend this place.
Really cute & unassuming spot we happened upon - & the food was superb! Their rosé (Gris) was really great as well. I took my vegan friend there & she had many options to choose from & they took great care of us. I ate carnivore & had both the chicken & beef & they were both super tender & very tasty. All salads & dips were fantastic & super fresh. Highly recommend! Sad I didn't take any photos - but the presentations were all pretty too - no frills, great eats.
