Omma is described as a small, cozy spot with authentic Korean flavors in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Dishes such as fried calamari and bibimbap are highlighted, with the fried calamari noted as exceptionally tender and the beef bibimbap praised for depth and a crisp rice crust when the egg is mixed in. The seafood pancake is a favorite for its freshness and crunch, while the beef broth with beef is described as delicious. The menu includes tofu stews and other comforting options, and sharing is easy with a variety of dishes. Service is generally described as friendly and efficient, though a few reviews note the space can feel chilly or that reservations are advisable due to its popularity. Wonderful restaurant & service. 5/5 food - crispy rice in hot bowl. Visiting from out of town. English-speaking. Thank you for a wonderful Montreal meal.

So good. I had the fried calamari & bibimbap. The fried calamari are by far the best I ever had. So tender. The beef bibimbap was great. Serve in a hot bow,l I recommend that you let the rice crisp up at the bottom before mixing the egg. The service was great too. I forgot the name of the drink but it was very good. It's the one made from Soju & yuzu. It's a small place with a soft atmosphere. Next time I'm in Montreal I will absolutely eat there again.

I cannot say enough about Omma's cooking. Hands down the best Korean food I've ever had. God forbid, if I ever found myself on death row, I would ask for her cooking to soothe me in my final moments.

The tubu tuigim was perfectly crisp on the outside & incredibly moist on the inside. The bibimbap had the freshest of ingredients that harmoniously mixed together to create a mouthwatering experience of a lifetime. I had never heard a stone bowl sizzle that hot before. The raw egg cooked itself within seconds before my eyes & the intense heat made the best charred rice imaginable.

Through Omma I've regained my faith in god, her cooking is one of Montreal's best hidden gems. After one meal, I love her almost as much as my Korean girlfriend. If Omma ever offered cooking lessons my life would be heaven.

Find Omma for a wonderful evening with your loved ones. We'll be back every week, we'll see you all there.

Small cozy restaurant, friendly staff doing it's best to offer a good experience for everyone. The bibimbap was good & served in hot stone bowl. Making the rice crispy after a few minute, delicious. The beef bulgogi was fragrant & tender, I liked it a lot paired with kimchi, salad & rice. Quick service despite the waitress being on her own.
