Review Summary

Overall, Omma receives praise for authentic Korean flavors and a broad menu including bibimbap, pajeon, naengmyeon, and shareable dishes that let groups mix and try different main courses. The setting is described as a small, cozy space with gentle decor and a warm, friendly atmosphere, though service can feel overworked during peak times and reservations are often recommended to avoid waits. Dishes are noted for bold, fresh ingredients and sizzling textures, with many singling out the beef bibimbap and the salmon appetizers as standouts, and the experience is frequently described as more Korean than many other spots in town. Price is seen as reasonable for the quality, and the location near the spectacle district makes it a good pre or post show option. A few reviews mention hiccups such as slow service or isolated issues, but the overall impression is that Omma offers a superb, comforting Korean dining experience worth returning for.

I cannot say enough about Omma's cooking. Hands down the best Korean food I've ever had. God forbid, if I ever found myself on death row, I would ask for her cooking to soothe me in my final moments.

The tubu tuigim was perfectly crisp on the outside & incredibly moist on the inside. The bibimbap had the freshest of ingredients that harmoniously mixed together to create a mouthwatering experience of a lifetime. I had never heard a stone bowl sizzle that hot before. The raw egg cooked itself within seconds before my eyes & the intense heat made the best charred rice imaginable.

Through Omma I've regained my faith in god, her cooking is one of Montreal's best hidden gems. After one meal, I love her almost as much as my Korean girlfriend. If Omma ever offered cooking lessons my life would be heaven.

Find Omma for a wonderful evening with your loved ones. We'll be back every week, we'll see you all there.

This amazing Korean restaurant is a hidden gem on the corner of Ontario Street & Clark Street in downtown Montreal :) Just a few steps from Saint Laurent metro. Feels like you have walked into a different cozy world with mesmerizing lanterns everywhere. The staff is super kind & welcoming & food is beyond delicious. We had Fried Squid for appetizers & the kimchi was a gourmet's delight. For dinner, I thoroughly enjoyed my Chicken Bulgogi Bibimbap & others in the group also loved their Octopus Bibimbap as well as Chicken Bulgogi. I know I will be coming back to this restaurant with family & friends again. Would recommend 10/10 UPDATE: Went & tried Pajun for appetizers which were the best seafood crispy pancakes! We also tried out favorite Dol sot Bibimbap with beef, octopus, & spicy shrimp. Also loved the chicken bulgogi which was just as delicious:) For dessert we had the chocolate mousse & mango sorbet:) A fantastic restaurant to enjoy the delicacies of authentic Korean food

Hidden gem of a Korean fusion restaurant near the downtown park; it offers innovative Korean dishes based on fresh, seasonal, & local ingredients. It's not a big restaurant but cozy with very attentive service. Highly recommend.
