We had one of the best meals we have had in Montreal. The grilled calamari was done to perfection, the garlic bread with tomato & Manchego cheese was fantastic. The staff was amazing, the decor is perfect & the music helps transports you to Spain. We were able to talk with the chef & you can see how passionate he is to serve fantastic authentic Spanish tapas & dishes. Trust me you will have a fantastic meal here. We are already think of when we can go back. Oh by the way, be sure to order the Ole Sangria, it is simply the best one I have ever had.Voir plus
This place is really just OK… nice location & view. Probably ok if you want to just have a beer & sangria on a terrace with some apps. If you're looking for anything more, this is probably not the place. Food was overly salted & not so tasty. Some menu items are misleading. I ordered what I thought was chorizo & ended up with a pizza (no sign of the chorizo). Some items are way overpriced. Most expensive mussels I've ever seen (double the price of any other restaurant for the same portion) & the sauces were off. Waiter brought all of our tapas at once, completely crowded the tiny table they gave us & made things very uncomfortable. I ordered a martini & got a glass of green foamy olive juice (which I sent back…). The staff is inexperienced & that's quite obvious. Don't charge fine dining pricing if you can't deliver on the experience.Voir plus
What a treat! We were hoping to find good Spanish tapas ended up enjoying a wonderful meal right next to a live band. Excellent selection of exquisite tapas, prepared from scratch with TLC, served while listening to a fantastic band of live music. We booked a larger table for next week on our way out. We lucked into Olé Tapas in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue for a Sunday lunch, & what an amazing find! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Owner Chef Nikolaos, & Elizabeth, our waitress, provided fantastic service-friendly, attentive, & genuine. It's clear Nikolaos fosters a great vibe with his staff. The food was incredible. We shared the Paella de Marisco, which was as authentic as it gets. Generous portions, first-rate ingredients, perfectly cooked bomba rice, & none of that overcooked seafood you might find elsewhere. Just excellent. The Calamares a la Andaluza were perfectly fried, light, & not greasy-so much better than what you usually get in the area. & don't miss the croquette platter-a delicious mix that we'd highly recommend. To top it all off, Nikolaos treated us to some gluten-free desserts: a carrot cake-style treat & a chocolate-dark berry creation. Both were absolutely delicious & didn't feel like "gluten-free" compromises at all. Everything was devoured. Olé Tapas stands out in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, & we'll absolutely be back. Being a client of OLE TAPAS for the first time, it was an amazing experience. You will find the best Spanish food restaurant in the city of Montreal, more specifically at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Ole Tapas has a variety of food. Every dish is more delicious than the other. Foods like; patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, & croquetas & the top most in all is the paella. I recommend the food of "OLE TAPAS" to all the people across Quebec & other provinces to taste it once. I will say, "Once you will eat, then you will come again & again".Voir plus

Si buscan una buena y deliciosa experiencia, Olé Tapas es el lugar. Cuenta con variedad de platos típicos de tapas y la comida espanola, súper recomendable. Las Paellas son exquisitas, sobretodo la de mariscos. Calamares crocantes, la tortilla tiene una buena porción. Las patatas bravas bien condimentadas y con sus salsas espectaculares. Ole Tapas is one of the best Spanish restaurants we've discovered in Montreal. This hidden gem offers authentic cuisine & warm hospitality, with a stunning waterfront view. We enjoyed a variety of flavorful tapas, including crispy patatas bravas, Pintxos De Pollo, & Champinones Al Ajillo, but the standout was the saffron-rich paella, packed with fresh shrimp, mussels, & calamari. The attentive service catered to our dietary needs, including halal meat options. The chef personally visited our table, sharing his passion for the food & generously gifting us homemade tortas to take home. Very recommendable this restaurant! We had an amazing celebrations here last night with friends & last month with family. The Food is always delicious, we love the ambiance whether it's inside or outside. Not to mention the accommodating staff (from the waiters to the bartender) very courteous & friendly! 🙏 Also, Mr Chef surprised us with their very delicious cake! This place was wonderful ! We had Paella which was delicious ! The fried calamari was also delicious. Everyone in our party of 12 was very happy with their choices of tapas. I drove to Montreal from Toronto with friends in the evening & we decided to dine in St Anne de Bellevue by the riverside boardwalk & selected Ole Tapas & were not disappointed. Meatballs, pork & chicken skewers, potato bravas & octopus were all delicious. I was on a road trip with friends & we found this wonderful tapas restaurant. We dined for on the patio & it was the best evening. Food was amazing. & the ambience was Hollywood perfect. Near the water. Gorgeous twinkling lights. The prettiest spot in town! & Nicholas was the kindest, most thoughtful host. He shared so much about the restaurant & it's history & he clearly loves entertaining & making his customers feel comfortable & appreciated. I've been to Spain three times (including the last time when I proposed to my now wife) so I have a good reference. I've been to Ole several time now & it's always a great night out. My most recent time was in September 2024. The calamari was probably the best cook I've ever had (they melted like butter!). The food & service is always great & would highly recommend. The only thing they're missing from a tapas bar in Spain is smaller portion tapas you can select from a display.Voir plus
J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de dîner à **Olé Tapas Bistro**, & je dois dire que c'était une expérience incroyable ! J'ai goûté la **Gallega** - un délicieux plat de patatas bravas avec des crevettes sautées dans de l'huile d'olive & de l'ail. Les portions étaient très généreuses, parfaites pour partager ou à savourer seul. Leur **sangria** est incontournable - honnêtement, la meilleure de la ville ! L'ambiance était festive & animée, ce qui a ajouté à l'expérience globale, & le service était professionnel & rapide. Ils ont également une terrasse chauffée si vous préférez vous asseoir à l'extérieur, ce qui est un plus, surtout quand il fait plus frais. C'était ma première visite, mais j'ai déjà hâte de revenir dans quelques semaines avec des amis. Je recommande vivement !Voir plus

Not impressed, shrimps not too good & don't taste the garlic but are full of paprika. Seems like the garlic mushrooms are canned mushrooms, I wouldn't feed my dog those mushrooms. He took them back without deducting them from the bill... Octopuses is given whole without a good knife to cut it, when I asked for a smooth knife to not destroy the octopus he said they only have steak knives. I asked him to ask the chef to cut the octopus in smaller pieces half & inch, he came back saying that the chef didn't want. He only cut them in three pieces, that really pissed me off especially that the bill cost me around 190$. I went to see the owner with the plate, they brought me back another one but it was cut 1 inch thick with no taste. Everything was bad, it's a shame considering this place a Spanish Tapas restaurant. Atmosphere, I heard all kind of musique except for Spanish music from Spain. Way to go for the atmosphere. First & last time in this restaurant.Voir plus

Ah, anniversaries-the perfect time for romance, fine dining, & apparently, a crash course in food roulette! My wife & I decided to celebrate our special day with what we thought would be a delectable charcuterie board at OLE Tapas. Priced at $60, it boasted a mouth-watering selection including, crucially, goat cheese. Given that my wife can't digest cow's milk without turning into an unwilling marathon runner, goat cheese was our safe bet. Imagine our surprise when the board arrived, only for us to find out that the goat cheese was MIA. No warning, no heads-up, just a silent substitution that would make any cheese-loving connoisseur cry. Upon inquiring, we were told they "ran out." Out of cheese, fine. Out of courtesy? Not so fine. You'd think someone would have mentioned this tiny detail before we started nibbling. Our waiter, bless his heart, tried to "see what he could do." Spoiler alert: not much. The initial offer was to take back some untouched cheese & charge us less-what a generous offer to recycle our food into someone else's meal! Then came Plan B: a complimentary tapa. We cautiously asked for the veal meatballs, but again, out came the bombshell: no sheep's milk cheese either, just more cow milk! At this point, we wondered if we should bring a farm next time to ensure the ingredients are actually what they say on the menu. It's one thing to tweak a recipe; it's another to leave your customers in the dark, especially when it could end with them spending their anniversary in the bathroom rather than basking in romantic bliss. So, dear diners, consider this a public service announcement: check with your waiter twice-maybe thrice-before assuming that what you see on the menu is what you'll actually get. & as for OLE Tapas, here's a little tip: transparency is as essential in your service as it is in your kitchen (even if you worked in Hell's Kitchen). False advertising & menu surprises don't just leave a bad taste in your customers' mouths-they're also downright dangerous. (P.S. Thanks for the 35% discount, but as we told you directly we didn't need any financial compensation, we therefore tipped the server an additional 35% on top of his usual tip). In conclusion, our anniversary became memorable for all the wrong reasons. & next time, we'll probably skip the surprises & just order plain bread. At least we know what's in it...or do we?Voir plus
