Growing up in eastern Europe I used to eat funnel cakes almost every day. Not easy to find them in Canada but this place is definitely the spot. Only thing that can make them even better is baking them on a wood fire. The flavor & composition is still very good, hard outer shell & soft inside just perfect.

This bakery truly stands out with it's singular offering of this unique chimney cake from Eastern Europe. As a foodie I was impressed to see something I've never seen before. The staff is excellent, they are prepared to give each visitor a brief introduction to the offering & the varieties they offer. Very professionally trained in both service & craft. Prices are reasonable. The pastries are semi-sweet, & the freshness really comes out in each bite. Limited seating, seems better to take with you on the street in warmer months.

Very cute little pastry shop, where you can sit & enjoy your pastry with some tea or hot chocolate or cappuccino. Fair pricing in terms of the drinks! They sell traditional Hungarian pastry from Transylvania, but also some modern variations. The place smells amazing (like all pastries), & the pastries are absolutely delicious.
Le staff est super sympathique! On a vraiment aimé le gâteau cheminée (désolé, je ne me souviens pas du nom hongrois!). Ils nous ont dit qu'on pouvait le réchauffer à la maison s'il nous en restait, on n'a pas été capable de s'arrêter, il n'en restait plus! Trop bon! J'ai pris le plus traditionnel, sucre & cannelle, j'ai vraiment apprécié le goût pas trop sucré & la texture fluffy au centre & légèrement croustillante à l'extérieur. Ma conjointe a pris sucre & beurre de pistache au centre, quantité généreuse de beurre de pistache, super bon aussi! Ils cuisent le gâteau cheminée devant nous, impossible d'avoir plus frais que ça!! Bref, on va y retourner très bientôt! On a hâte aussi d'essayer en cornet de crème glacée!
Friendly staff & it smelled delicious as you enter the lovely decorated store. Their funnel cakes are crunchy on the outside & fluffy warm on the inside. It tastes less sweeter than Beavertails if that's what you are used to but it's all good. It was the perfect level of sweetness! You can add nutella inside if more sweetness is your thing. Highly recommend to pay a visit if you never had a funnel cake & if you have then well there's always room for some more sweetness in your life :3
