Across numerous reviews, Ohana Sushi Vegan is described as a vibrant and creative vegan sushi and poke bowls spot with fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and flavors that delight both vegans and non vegans alike. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly service, while the menu offers a wide variety and gluten free options, and portions are generous for the price. The dishes are repeatedly praised for originality, texture, and balance, from sushi platters to signature rolls, and the overall experience is considered worth returning to. Occasional notes about limited seating and occasional delays are mentioned, but the consensus remains highly positive and fans look forward to returning.
Ohana Sushi Vegan is a favorite for a reason. My non vegan family goes here all the time & absolutely loves it, even my five year-old nephew is obsessed with this place. The menu is full of creative, thoughtfully crafted sushi with so much variety that there's something for everyone.
We took more family members here this weekend & ordered a wide selection of dishes, & everything was incredibly fresh, flavourful, & generously portioned. The Philadelphia rolls with cashew cream cheese are absolutely amazing, & honestly, everything we tried was delicious!
The presentation is stunning, almost too beautiful to eat & the prices are very reasonable for the quality & portion sizes. Our waitress was so friendly, patient, & genuinely kind, & the entire staff made us feel so welcome with their warmth & constant smiles. Amazing service!
This place is truly a gem, & I highly recommend it to both vegans & non vegans alike. 💚🍣
Excellent beyond words. Every bite is an explosion of flavours & colours. The chef's special of Princesse, black angel with spicy mayo & trilogie with a gingery dip were all yummmmmm.
Got delivery & it travelled well. Innovative vegan takes on sushi, flavours were unique & different! Price was more expensive (+ their prices were inflated on delivery) compared to a typical sushi restaurant. I could not believe how much the "fauxmon" (So-Mon-Royal'vegan' salmon sashimi) looked like salmon! You could tell it wasn't salmon but the texture was very close & the taste was better than I expected.
BEST SUSHI EVER! Even though it's Vegan, I prefer it more than sushi with fish. This is my favorite restaurant & I can't stop eating them! The order doesn't take a long time to make & the place itself is beautiful. The flavours are very unique but still the best. Thank you so much for making this place. They even decorate sushi with flowers & cut hearts out of carrots. They add 1-3 extra sushis. Every time, they become better. I'm 10 years old & took the phone from my dad to write the review P.S : Geiko & Sumo are the best

Amazing 🤩 so good to find vegan sushi with so many options & different varieties. Loved the flavour combinations & felt we have to try more, alas one can eat only so much😄 Highly recommend this vegan sushi place. The banana fritters were the best vegan dessert I've ever eaten, so good ! Only the Bombay Sushi wasn't as good as the rest. Definitely this place warrants a second visit New Edits: 12th May 2024. Just came to Montreal specifically for their fried banana fritters & sushi, all the way from Toronto!!! The food is consistently delicious & totally worth the visit. Wish they would open a branch in downtown Toronto 😍😋
My new favourite sushi place. One could imagine that vegan sushis would be bland & all taste the same, but they would be so far from the truth at Ohana sushi! Each type is so flavourful, & distinct. It is so fresh & tasty, I still think about them! Can't wait to go back 😍 ( it's a small restaurant with limited seating, I would try to come after & before rush hour to be sure to have a seat/table)
First time visit. We took the sushi platter (30 pieces, for 2 people) as a take-away for early dinner. This was really unexpected & wow! The sushi tasted great & the flavours were varied. A real treat! Consider us fans, we'll come back for more :D
