I'm not removing my first-time review, this update is just me giving this place another chance, & this time I came with my family.
I'll be completely honest: this visit was much better. We were all satisfied & full, & I finally got to try their new special dumplings. Hot, very tasty, & perfect for the gloomy winter weather. There was almost no wait, & the food came out within just a few minutes.
Unfortunately, my family didn't get to try their fried rice because the chef who makes it was on break/vacation. But overall, my family was happy & satisfied, & for that reason I'm increasing my star rating.
Definitely a better experience this time around!

We decided to try Oh Dumplings in Chinatown, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
First thing to point out the service was very slow. We took into consideration that there were other people at the restaurant, but the delays were still hard to justify. Our order included Beef & Coriander Dumplings, Fish & Coriander Dumplings, General Tao Chicken, Chicken Noodles, Vegetable Fried Rice, & Wonton Soup.
The dumplings came out after about 15-20 minutes, followed by the General Tao shortly after. But then, we waited around 40-45 minutes for the rest of our food. By the time the noodles & fried rice arrived, we had already finished the dumplings & General Tao, sitting at an empty table for almost an hour just waiting for the rest. At that point, we honestly lost our appetite.
The food itself is okay nothing mind-blowing but decent. The dumplings were flavorful, especially with the coriander touch. The General Tao was on the sweeter side, which may not be for everyone. The fried rice & noodles were fine, but after waiting so long, we didn't really enjoy them as much as we could have.
Overall if you have patience & time to spare, the food is passable, but nothing about the taste justifies that long of a wait. We likely won't be returning anytime soon unless they improve the service speed.

Menu is limited, very'white' Chinese food. When we went, most people in there are in fact no Chinese. Food we did end up getting was good but I wouldn't go there again just because it's not what I want out of the menu.

We came here as a family of 6 on vacation & were seated immediately. I was overwhelmed with all the yummy options so we decided to order a bunch of dishes & all share them. This was the best restaurant we experienced in Montreal. The service was amazing & the food was some of the best Asian food I have had. We all cleaned the plates & left extremely satisfied. We had 4 different kinds of dumplings, fried rice & the noodles. (Lamb, beef with chive & another beef mixed with herbs. As well as pork chive.) 10/10 recommend.

We ordered variety of dumplings, beef with broccoli, chicken with onion & ginger & Tao chicken. Food was excellent, preparation was fresh & quick. We had a great time.

Food is very average.
I visited with a group of five, hoping for a light meal of dumplings. However, we were informed that we couldn't just order what we wanted; the restaurant mandates a minimum of four main dishes for a group of our size. We felt forced to over-order just to be served.
To make matters worse, when we tried to omit the tip due to the rigid service & forced ordering, the staff pressured us into paying one anyway. Forcing a tip after forcing an order felt completely inappropriate. I won't be returning.

Delicious fresh dumplings, & the server was the sweetest lady. Next time I'm visiting Montreal I will be back for sure.

I went with my friends (we are all teens & we don't really have the money to tip) & the lady legitimately said to my friend'the tip is obligatory' & when we just tipped 1 dollar she gave us attitude as if we needed to give them money got a mediocre customer service.
Also one of the friends I came with felt absolutely horrible & they were the only one to eat the onion rings.
I wouldn't recommend even if you were dying of hunger, there are way better spots not even a street away that treat you way better & don't force you to give tip.

Os dumplings sao muito gostosos e o molho que vem MUITO bom!!!
Ambiente ok, serviço bom. Mas como alguém citou em um review abaixo a água veio em uma garrafa e copos que nao tinham uma aparência lá muito boa.
Mas vale a pena pelo valor e tamanho das porções.

Awesome lunch spot! We are visiting from Texas & wanted to try dumplings. We got the chicken & Chinese cabbage dumplings as well as the General Tao's tofu. Both were amazing. The portions were big & the service was awesome. I would highly recommend Oh Dumplings.

Our favorite spot with my bf! The dumplings are always fresh, flavorful, & absolutely delicious. Great service & cozy vibe - highly recommend!
