We had an excellent experience here! We ordered a steak with fries & beans. The dish was delicious & the sauce was fabulous. We also ordered an Aperol Spritz. Service was good & everyone was attentive. I would recommend it!View more

Nice little pub. Ambiance was great as was the friendly staff. The food was brought to our table fairly quick which is a bonus. The guests I was with loved their choices. I guess I'm knocking off a star for my choice of the classic poutine. Portion was a little small & was expecting it to have more cheese. But overall would recommend this restaurant.View more

We were greeted & promptly sat down with a dual menu. Delightful. My travel buddy & I had wine & I had a burger while she had a steak & both were delightful. Its lovely to sit next to the old garage door & watch the world walk by. Recommend the atmosphere as the music was not too loud & employees were friendly. Food did not take long to come out. Stumbled on this place to get cover from the stormy wet weather. Great place, good music, excellent service & enjoyed the light bites we ordered. Due to the location It's certainly not cheap & probably not 100% value for money, hence dropping a star - but I would still recommend if you are in the area & want a drink.View more

Sat at the airport most of the day yesterday, only to have my flight cancelled around 11 pm. NEEDED a cocktail when I got to the hotel, but most places were closed. Found NYKS, & was able to enjoy a couple to help me relax. Bartender was nice after I struck up a conversation. Would recommend any time.View more

Kitchen was closed so we could not eat. When we arrived, there was no one at the door & à lot of the tables were unoccupied, so we sat down. The server, gave us such an awkward look. Told us the table hadn't been cleaned & we should of waited at the door. She threw a menu on the table & left... We seriously thought of leaving, but another server came with & was a bit nicer. Beers were good, but service awful. Would not recommend unless you have nowhere else to go.View more

NYKS Pub is fantastic! The service is excellent, with incredibly kind staff. I had the onion soup, which was amazing, & my husband had the Dutch poutine-OMG, sooo good. This super cute pub has a great vibe & atmosphere. Plus, they have the best cocktails in Montreal. Highly recommend!View more

3.5 stars . Located near me I figured I would give this place a shot for dinner. I ordered the tartare of the moment & it was beef. Good enough but lacked a bit of oophm. My boyfriend got the burger with bacon & cheese but the cheese was not melted so it looked overall cold, he said the taste was alright. The fries & side salad were really good in my opinion! So next time I think I'll try the poutine. The service was great & friendly! I recommend reserving in advance because the place is a bit small & it fills up quick!View more

- I had to request the menus after 10-15 minutes after being seated
- after we ordered it took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive (plate of mussels & a chicken burger)
prices were ok
Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend this place especially for lunch
