Les nouilles étaient excellentes & les portions très grandes. Deux assiettes pour trois personnes auraient été suffisantes.
Pour l'ambiance, c'était moyen… peu de clients quand on est arrivé… le serveur ne parlait pas français & m'a demandé de parler en anglais à quelques reprises. Je comprends que Montréal soit touristique, mais au Québec, le service clientèle implique au minimum la connaissance du français. On s'est adaptés sans réagir… mais ça nous a grandement déplu. On s'est demandé ensuite si sa crainte de s'adresser à nous en français a fait en sorte qu'il a évité l'interaction avec nous? Il ne nous pas offert de breuvage, il n'a pas vérifié notre appréciation…
Mis à part cet aspect, nous y retournerons sûrement un jour.

I didn't like special beef soup that much, I feel it had a very strong smell but the noodles are so lovely so maybe it's just my personal preference
Mon restaurant préféré à Montréal ! Je n'avais pas testé cette nouvelle localisation mais elle est toute aussi bonne que la première 🤭. Les nouilles DanDan sont mes préférées.
Je connais la succursale du quartier chinois & celle-ci n'a absolument rien à lui envier de rien du tout, au contraire même, j'y reviendrai.
La soupe qui n'est disponible que les week-ends est tout simplement incroyable, une tuerie! Ça vaut tout à fait le projet de traverser la ville pour la goûter. Les nouilles sont tirées à la commande & du diamètre de votre choix, le bouillon est savoureux & bien épicé, la viande très tendre. C'est probablement un des meilleurs plats populaires disponible en ville en ce moment. On a accompagné nos soupes avec un plat de concombres épicés qui offrent un excellent contre-poid fraîcheur à la soupe capiteuse.
J'ai visité le resto à quelques reprises & je n'ai jamais eu à faire la file. C'est le problème de la succursale du quartier chinois. Je n'ai malheureusement pas la patience d'attendre 57 minutes sur un trottoir pour manger.
Le resto ici est presque neuf, toujours accessible & propre. Le service est super rapide, le staff & efficace & attentionné. La soupe est mémorable & la portion gargantuesque. Quand je m'y rend en auto je trouve généralement du stationnement sur Maisonneuve. Ça vaut vraiment la peine de manger sur place plutôt que de faire livrer. On a alors la vrai expérience des saveurs à la bonne température.

La nourriture est bonne & l'endroit à tjrs l'aire propre, j'ai bien aimé l'expérience sauf pour tous ceux en mobilité réduite, il n'y a pas d'accès pour eux, désolé
Phenomenal hand-pulled noodles!! I was looking for a quick, cheap, warm meal near my hotel & Nouilles de Lanzhou kept popping up in my Google / Yelp recommendations. I decided to poke my head in & was immediately greeted by the incredible fragrance of rich meat broths & savory stir-fried noodles. I settled in & grabbed their vegetarian combo set, which comes with a salad / appetizer of your choice, vegetable soup noodles, & a tea egg.
The noodles were absolutely incredible. They had a perfectly chewy, QQ texture & were super fun to eat. The soup noodles comes with the medium thickness noodles (san-xi), which is perfect for slurping. I was initially a bit nervous about how flavorful the vegetarian soup would be at a place that specializes in beef noodle soup, but it was fantastic; it was herbaceous, umami, & very tasty. The veggies were fresh & had a bit of crunch in them, & the tea egg was delightfully fragrant.
One note for folks with allergies - their chili oil has peanuts in it (or at least that's what the servers told me), so you can't use the chili oil at their table or get anything spicy (e.g., the cucumber salad).

I really like their beef noodles here. Their big bowl of noodles will make even the biggest eaters full & they always have great service with warm welcomes to their customers. Their noodles is made on the spot & you can choose various thickness for your noodles. I recommend you try their thick noodles like the ones in the picture below.

Just okay - nothing spectacular.'Try it once & never come back' type of place. Ordered the #3 noodles but what we got was a mix of different thicknesses. Portion sizes are decent but flavours are lacking. Waiter was clearly sick; no mask, & handling dishes between blowing his nose (didn't wash his hands in between...)
