Le service varie entre attentif et sympathique et des visites rapides, et les délais d attente peuvent s allonger lors d événements, même si le personnel est généralement agréable et serviable, avec des options sans gluten et une impression d accueil. Malgré quelques pointes de critique, l endroit est perçu comme prometteur et à découvrir pour une soirée décontractée, avec une expérience conviviale et un esprit de croissance.
I had the Avocat du Diable burger, which is essentially a vegetarian option that can be made vegan. Ironically, there's no avocado in the burger despite the name. I opted for the vegan, gluten-free bun instead of the regular one (you have to specifically ask the waitress for it). My friend had the Swiss burger & enjoyed it. We also opted for the jerk fries, which were good, basically regular fries with a peppery seasoning. I had a 0.0% Peroni, while my friend tried the Red Stripe, a well-known Jamaican beer.
That said, the service really took away from the experience. Despite clearly mentioning multiple times that I'm vegan, my plate still came with a cup of basil mayonnaise. It's small details like that that make customers feel like their preferences aren't taken seriously.
We sat at the bar & were served by a young girl who seemed inexperienced & had a noticeable attitude. Right from the beginning, she talked back to me, which set the tone. At another point, while I was casually debating burger doneness with my friend, she became impatient & rude, which felt unnecessary & uncomfortable. There wasn't any major incident, but the overall vibe was unwelcoming.
Before going, I called to ask about the vegetarian option, & the person on the phone couldn't answer a simple question about what wasn't vegan in the burger. He had to check with the manager, who then spoke to me as if I had already been there & was complaining, which was confusing & off-putting.
It was a Friday night & the restaurant wasn't busy. The location is next to Baton Rouge at Carrefour Laval, with free parking available.
Overall, while the food is decent, it's not exceptional, & the poor service makes it unlikely that I'll return.
PS I'm only vegan during Lent which is essentially 40 days a year.
'Je ne comprenais pas pourquoi un si bel endroit était vide au début. Mais après avoir mangé le hamburger, j'ai compris pourquoi. Malheureusement, le goût de la viande était bien en dessous de mes attentes. Je vous conseille vivement de revoir la qualité & la saveur de votre viande. De plus, la serveuse semblait très peu motivée & peu impliquée dans son travail.

Food was good. However, be aware of the kids' menu. They don't have it printed for adults to consult. Meals are $14. They have 5 choices. Every topping on hamburgers are extra (cheese $2, bacon $3...). Sides are also extra (poutine $5, Cesar salad $3). So I paid 17$ for a drink, hot dog with Cesar salad & a small bowl of ice cream. Also paid $19 for 2 chicken tenders & a poutine. Not what I was expecting.
Les heures d'ouverture sont erronées, moi & mon amie nous sommes arrivé à 21h, sur la porte les heures d'ouvertures disent ouvert jusqu'à 23h, la porte était barré! J'ai donc appeler le restaurant pour me faire dire qu'ils étaient entrain de closer… à 2h de la fermeture! Vraiment déçu, moi & mon amie on avait très hâte de manger nos cornichons frits.
Usually a great place. Food is absolutely delicious. Meals have nice names. Food is very filling for the price.
Unfortunately last time I went with 3 of my friends, it took over an hour for our food to come. I understand there was a drag show happening (not expected for that night) but doesn't matter if its a drag or a puppet show, the food shouldn't take that long to arrive. We got ordered at around 7:45pm & we got our food at 9:10pm & by that time there was half the people there was when we arrived!

I ordered on Uber eats for a total of 50$. Very disappointing experience. The burger meat was unusually chewy with several hard pieces that I had to spit out, which suggests poor meat quality or overcooking. The bacon was soft & not crispy. The onion rings were soggy both inside & outside, as if they were cooked at the wrong temperature or left sitting too long. The overall quality of ingredients was very poor & assembly was also very poor. Where was the lettuce? The onions?
The 11$ brownie described as'à la mode' arrived as a dry, plain square with no ice cream or sauce - completely different from what was advertised. It looked stale & not freshly prepared. I was really looking forward to eating a GOOD flavorful hamburger. That really wasn't it. So disappointed. Will never order from here again. Might as well order from AW. 😂 😭
Club sandwich a greasy soft concoction, sauce dripping & overpowering all other ingredients. French fries were black from refrying, tasteless (actually, heavy oil taste). Wings tasted oily. Do not order take out from the Carrefour Laval location.
On est aller pour le superbowl, tres bon service & bonne bouffe, la bartender nous a offert des shot pour le show de bad bunny, nous nous sommes vraiment senti accueilli, définitivement pas la dernière visite
Got tater tots to go & while it's usually a pretty generous portion, this was ridiculously small, 10$ for a single serving amount. Will not be ordering from this location again.
Honestly, the service was very bad we waited over an hour for our food. The food was good but they never came to see us to ask if we wanted coffee & dessert. I was not empressed, won't be going back!
