Tous les plats que nous avons commandé étaient incroyables. Un des meilleurs restaurants italiens que nous avons essayé. Fortement recommandé.
Lovely atmosphere, very warm & cozy. The service was attentive. We ordered the summer salad & two pastas as mains. Unfortunately nothing wowed us.
Fabulous small restaurant with very interesting wine (& knowledgeable sommelier). Loved the stuffed zucchini flowers in particular. Just a wonderful, memorable meal!
Les plats principaux à environ 45$ contiennent des portions minuscules (3 bouchées par plat & je n'exagère pas). Nous étions 3 & avons partagé 2 entrées & 3 plats principaux & nous étions encore affamés.
The food was extraordinary & the service was fantastic. Each dish- crudo, zucchini blossoms, rabbit, lobster pasta was absolutely delicious. We were visiting from NYC & had never been to Montreal- so choosing this restaurant for our anniversary was a sublime choice. Run, don't walk to get here!
Spectacular feom start to finish. We were celebrating a birthday. Servers were attentive. Informed. Fun & gabe us great advice. Not pretentious but absolutely delicious. We had a few starters. As there were 3 of us they bepught 3 zucchini flower delights not 2. The cocktails were creative & strong. The dessert was beautiful & came with a sparkler! The house special homemade pasta was exceptional.
Exceptional in every way. Superb service. Outstanding food (the grilled cabbage antipasto will change your view of cabbage). Highly recommend!
Went here on a whim a few weeks ago & was blown away by the service & food. A spot was saved for me at the bar after calling ahead last minute & the bartender did a great job setting me up through the menu. Fantastic food & wonderful atmosphere. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in town.
Une grosse blague. J ai payé 19$ pour 5 morceaux de pates. La nourriture est chère pour rien. Service condescendant. Bref, ce restaurant n'en vaut pas le hype.
I had a beautiful dining experience here on April 25. Service was friendly, attentive & provided knowledgeable recommendations. The lamb meatball spaghetti was superb. Well curated wine list - suited to the restaurant. Cool, fun, interesting & delicious! I will definitely be back & highly recommend you to visit :)
love this place super cool 1970's paneled basement vibe paired with a fantastic food & beverage program (u must get at least one pasta) all combined with team service that delivers a perfect evening.
Nora Gray was an excellent combination of great food, attentive service, & unhurried dinner ambiance. Simon was our waiter & checked in regularly with us; he answered all of our questions & selected a wine to go with my dinner. The hostess also made a huge difference by seating new diners in different corners of the room rather than lumping everyone into the same section. Everything we ate was delicious, but the pastas stood out in particular. The sauces were extremely fresh & vibrant, & my pappardelle was made in-house that day & basically melted in the mouth. Between the generous amount of snow crab in my pasta & the huge, impeccably seared sea scallops I had for secondi, this place more than scratched my itch for seafood. We finished the meal with their in-house salted caramel gelato, amaretti, & espresso as a dessert, which I would highly recommend. We will definitely be back here the next time we're in Montreal.
Best Italian! Everything was delicious, including the stone crab pasta!!!
Nora Grey is a highly celebrated restaurant in Montreal. In terms of service & atmosphere, I can see why. The food though? Good, but way overpriced. Like WAY overpriced. 60$ for half a bavette, & a salad that's been hit with an Exterminatus of parmesan. To illustrate why this is crazy, a steak-frites at Au Pied De Cochon is 40$. 45$ for gnocchi, fettucini ragu & 2 other pasta dishes. The food ia good, don't get me wrong, but nothing about it stands out to justify the price point. & frankly, I make a better ragu. Being italian, it's hard to recommend ANY italian place, but unless you're trying to impress someone who's never had italian food, I would not recommend going.
