Probably the best noodle you would find in Montreal. Small area with fast service. You must have cash
Worth waiting in line for. The service was quick & the two servers were amazingly on the ball given how packed it was. It's nothing fancy inside, but the food was outstanding. The vegetable dumplings were better than any I've ever had. The dough was somehow almost sweet & the filling was so much more flavourful than at other places. The shrimp har gow was just right & the pork wontons delicious. The Shanghai noodles were good, not mind-blowing, but to be fair, we were pretty stuffed by the time we got to them.
Small restaurant with limited seatings so make sure to arrive as soon as they open. Super welcoming staff & food came fast & fresh (noodle & dumplings are my favorites). I've been going here for years & can say that they have cut down on the portion like many other restaurants but it is still super affordable. I usually pay almost double elsewhere for the same amount of food. I strongly suggest to give it a try if you're craving for fast chinese food without breaking your bank.
I loved Noodle factory restaurant. The food was so flavour & delicious! The service was super fast & the price is affordable. Definetely, a must go restaurant in Montreal
Fabulous dumplings & noodles. Great prices but cash only & no hot tea.
I've been frequenting the Noodle Factory off & on for years, drawn repeatedly by its straightforward charm & delectable offerings. Nestled in the heart of Montreal's vibrant Chinatown, this no-frills eatery has carved out a niche for itself, serving up tasty dishes at an unbeatable value. Upon entering, one can't help but notice the restaurant's modest dimensions. The space is somewhat cramped, a testament to its bustling activity rather than any lack of foresight. While not expansive, the setting is adequate, fostering a cozy atmosphere that puts the focus squarely on the food. The staff, adhering to the establishment's no-frills approach, provide the basic level of service necessary to facilitate your meal. This minimalist approach to service underscores the restaurant's commitment to offering a low-cost dining experience, prioritizing the quality & affordability of the food above all else. However, it's important to note that the Noodle Factory may not be accessible to everyone, as it currently does not provide wheelchair access due to the absence of a ramp. This limitation is a significant oversight that the establishment should address to welcome a broader clientele. The menu at Noodle Factory stands out for its generous portion sizes that leave customers satisfied. The dishes, while simple, are prepared in a way that brings out a richness of flavor, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The cost of dining here is surprisingly low, making it a go-to spot for those seeking a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Be mindful that the restaurant operates on a cash-only basis. While this may require a bit of planning ahead, the dining rewards are well worth this minor inconvenience. In sum, the Noodle Factory stands as a testament to the simple pleasure of good food served without pretense. While it may benefit from a few logistical improvements, its commitment to providing a cost-effective dining experience, alongside the satisfying culinary offerings, ensures its place as a beloved fixture in Montreal's dining scene. Whether you're a long-time patron or a curious newcomer, the Noodle Factory promises a dining experience that's both satisfying & memorable, all while keeping your wallet happy.
Best general tao I've had in Chinatown! The house noodles are also really delicious
Fantastic place. Very happy I went here to eat. Shanghai noodles were great.
Amazing Chinese food for the money. The food is made fast with great service. Lots of dishes can be made plant based. You can add tofu to any dish. This is must try to everyone who visits Montreal & enjoys noodles! This a cash only place, so remember to bring cash.
Delicious soup dumplings & noodles in Chinatown district. Fresh ingredients all around so tasty. Very reasonably priced & excellent service!
Best place in Montreal for fresh handmade noodles. Typical chinese restaurant. Quick service for an eat & go, staff is friendly. On my list of regular restaurants I go.
Called in prior to getting take out. Pretty rude over the phone. They only take cash too. They weren't clear about it on the phone. Really good noodles. Nicely flavoured. Their online menu is not updated so there is a price increase there.y a
I would give this place 4.5 stars if it were an option. This is a great "hole in the wall" restaurant with fast service & very attentive wait staff. We were served what I'm assuming was cold tap water out of a bottle right away, which was nice to have as soon as we sat down. There was an option to buy canned sodas, but it is not on the menu. We ordered wonton soup, noodles with pork & fried pork dumplings. ALL of the food was EXCELLENT!! Fresh & delicious with just the right seasonings. Loved the chili oil that was brought to the table. Downside, if you don't know ahead of time is that this is CASH ONLY!! They do take US dollars. Also, this is not a place to go if you want to sit for hours & have cocktails with your friends/family. It is small & they move fast. I never felt rushed but it's just not a place that you're going to be hanging out for a long time. We didn't have to wait for a table but I can see how a line could easily back up.
Perfect hole in the wall for handmade dumplings & noodles. Prompt service, great prices.
This Cash-Only micro restaurant is the best economical Chinese food place in Montreal. We had hearty Singapore Noodles, fried rice & dumplings & spent less than 50$
Maybe I didn't pick the "right" dish but man it was a huge deception. The noodles were over cooked, the "sauce" was only soy sauce, almost no meat in the dish. I ate it because I paid for it but if I would have received it for free, I would never have touched it. Won't come back.
The Singapore noodles were good! I was skeptical about it being a curry spiced dish, but it was mild & tasted good! I got them to go.
