Did a take out order during a weekend stay in Montreal. Service was quick & friendly. Order my standard Cantonese Chow Mein & it was quite good. The price was very reasonable. Small little spot with 5-6 tables. I can see going here next time in Montreal. Nothing fancy but just good simple food made to order & served up fairly quickly. ThanksView more

Worth waiting in line for. The service was quick & the two servers were amazingly on the ball given how packed it was. It's nothing fancy inside, but the food was outstanding. The vegetable dumplings were better than any I've ever had. The dough was somehow almost sweet & the filling was so much more flavourful than at other places. The shrimp har gow was just right & the pork wontons delicious. The Shanghai noodles were good, not mind-blowing, but to be fair, we were pretty stuffed by the time we got to them.View more

1) Yes, it is cash-only. So, either come prepared or skip it.
2) Yes, it is a small restaurant. Therefore, lineups build up easily during peak times.
3) Yes, the service is quick. As a result, lineups may advance fast but, you may feel rushed as well.
4) Yes, the food is good. However, don’t expect it to blow your mind.
Now, depending on how you ponder those points & on how long you waited in line, you will decide if it was worth it or not.
Last, this is not the kind of restaurant to sit down for an hour. It is more for a pit stop or takeout, unless you go when it’s not busy.View more
