It is worth waiting in the line. Went today for a second chance & it was better than the first. Remember, cash only. Blindingly recommend itView more
Absolutely delicious food!! Fast what can I say. The best!!
You need cash, though, no machine.View more

This place is cash only & has some of the best food. Everything was fresh & great quality.View more
The quality of foods were satisfying. & the price was reasonable. But be careful, this restaurant only takes cash.View more
Very tasty food, & one of the more affordable spots in Chinatown! Lunch runs us about 30$ for two people & is always filling & delicious. It may not serve the BEST dumplings in the area, but we still find ourselves returning for the coziness, comfort food, & low price. Oh, & remember to bring cash!!!View more
Unassuming restaurant, classic hole-in-the-wall style, with fantastic house noodles! Ordered the #2 hot & sour soup, #12 soup dumplings, & #19 pork & spicy vegetables soup for a fantastic trip down Noodle Road! (cash only)View more
I'm not an expert on Chinese food, but this felt under seasoned & very westernised. The portions are huge, I would preferred more reasonable sized portions & better quality overall. The staff was attentive & nice. Important! They only accept cashView more
A Chinese restaurant specialized in homemade noodles. Serving Xiao Long Bao also. Cash only.View more
Very friendly staff, delicious food.... No drink selection though other than soft drinks (no tea, alcohol etc.) ... cash onlyView more
Cash only! Called for take out & only had to wait a couple of minutes when I got there. Food was good. They have limited seating inside so if you dine in, you may have to wait for a table. Really like the General Tao Chicken (#37), it wasn't mostly breading like other places, the Cantonese Chow Mein (#28), it's a pan fried noddle & the House Noodle (#25).View more
Probably the best noodle you would find in Montreal. Small area with fast service. You must have cashView more
I had the most delicious vegetarian dumplings that were reasonably priced. I didn't realize it was cash only so at the end of my meal, the host told me there was an ATM machine around the corner. I went & got cash & came back to pay. the next time I'm visiting in town. I will definitely come back.View more
Though the building is cramped with limited seating, food is worth it. The prices are relatively cheap & portion sizes are generous! No matter what you get, each dish if packed with flavour, & you can't go wrong with anything they offer, as they have a good variety to fit many taste prefrences, perfect for picky & adventurous eaters alike. Staff is very minimal when it comes to serving you, & it's important to note they operate on a cash based systemView more
They're super friendly staff!! Amazing cuisine, large portions & great prices. Definitely a great option. *CASH ONLY*View more
I stopped in here on a recent trip & was delighted to realize that I had been there previously, seven years before. I remembered how delicious the food was but forgot that they only take CASH. It's absolutely worth it to eat here but be sure to get cash first! There is an ATM at the Holiday Inn across Rue Saint-Urbain, though with fees (it works in a pinch). Plan ahead & enjoy your meal!View more
Small but clean restaurant, fast & courteous service. & the food is yummy & very affordable! Just have to bring cash. Highly recommended.View more
Petit restaurant ou il y a un choix de plats asiatiques bien cuisinés, rapidement servis & qui sont bons. La salle n'est pas grande & surtout ils n'acceptent que du cash...View more

I've been frequenting the Noodle Factory off & on for years, drawn repeatedly by its straightforward charm & delectable offerings. Nestled in the heart of Montreal's vibrant Chinatown, this no-frills eatery has carved out a niche for itself, serving up tasty dishes at an unbeatable value. Upon entering, one can't help but notice the restaurant's modest dimensions. The space is somewhat cramped, a testament to its bustling activity rather than any lack of foresight. While not expansive, the setting is adequate, fostering a cozy atmosphere that puts the focus squarely on the food. The staff, adhering to the establishment's no-frills approach, provide the basic level of service necessary to facilitate your meal. This minimalist approach to service underscores the restaurant's commitment to offering a low-cost dining experience, prioritizing the quality & affordability of the food above all else. However, it's important to note that the Noodle Factory may not be accessible to everyone, as it currently does not provide wheelchair access due to the absence of a ramp. This limitation is a significant oversight that the establishment should address to welcome a broader clientele. The menu at Noodle Factory stands out for its generous portion sizes that leave customers satisfied. The dishes, while simple, are prepared in a way that brings out a richness of flavor, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The cost of dining here is surprisingly low, making it a go-to spot for those seeking a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Be mindful that the restaurant operates on a cash-only basis. While this may require a bit of planning ahead, the dining rewards are well worth this minor inconvenience. In sum, the Noodle Factory stands as a testament to the simple pleasure of good food served without pretense. While it may benefit from a few logistical improvements, its commitment to providing a cost-effective dining experience, alongside the satisfying culinary offerings, ensures its place as a beloved fixture in Montreal's dining scene. Whether you're a long-time patron or a curious newcomer, the Noodle Factory promises a dining experience that's both satisfying & memorable, all while keeping your wallet happy.View more
