The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients & beef Pho (rare, flanc & beef ball) was particularly good. The service was friendly & efficient. The staff made helpful suggestions & were quick to bring the food. They made sure we were comfortable without being too pushy. The atmosphere was cozy & relaxing. Even though it was busy, it wasn't too loud, & the décor made it feel welcoming, just feel like going home. The prices were fair for the quality of the food & service. It felt worth it for the overall experience. I had a great time here & would recommend it to others. I'd definitely come back again!
My husband & I drove 30 min to reach Nhasang & it was worth every minute of the drive! we went for the famous egg coffee I had seen advertised by @zai.eats. let me tell you its next level coffee! Absolutely delicious & will have your taste buds calling out for more the second morning! We tried the coconut coffee & the yam coffee all three super yummy! & omg their cakes are to die for, made on demand & super moist & fresh! They have dinner menu that we will go back to try very soon given that we didn't have enough time for ordering it. Above all is how at home the business owner & her daughter made us feel. They're friendly, generous, took the time to answer our questions regarding the drinks on the menu & made us feel so welcomed! The atmosphere is very relaxing & laid-back will definitely come back soon & recommend you all to try this Montréal gem & support family businesses like NHSANG! Thank you Nhsang family for making our visit to your restaurant the highlight of our day! 🥰 we recommended your restaurant to our family & friends & we will definitely see you soon 😊
It is a small family run shop by mother & daughter. You can feel all food is homemade without a lot of msg, & made by the lady. The menu is very simple, they focus only on Pho & a cambodian soup noodle. We tried the pho, it is very good, & portion is HUGE. the lime is the best lime I've ever had in a resto, so juicy. I wonder if they grow it in their backyard & freshly pick from the tree, lol. Service is good, the only thing is the durian smell a bit strong when we enter the store. It's ok if u don't mind or like the smell. The egg coffee is good, should try as it is rare to find in Montreal. Cake in a can is cute concept, taste ok. All in all, strongly recommend & will come back.
The egg coffee is a must try! Their "Pho" was good, lots of ingredients with soup that made fresh daily. A gem in the neighborhood.
This place is a super great discovery The curry soup is the best I've found in the whole of Montreal This is a mother & daughter restaurant One of the best coffee & bubble tea & Thai tea in the neighborhood For sure it's a must to come here when your in town Fresh veggies & fresh soups Thank you so much for the service They are so nice & attentive The place is sparkling clean I will return for sure
First off, we did not try their coffee maybe their coffee is super good but the food was really just OK. To sum it up, this place is "Jack of 3 dishes & master of none". We tried their pho, Cambodian curry noodle & Japanese udon. The pho here is average, they don't have the Bun Bo Hue, they give you more than average noodles sure... but the noodles were a bit overcooked, a bit soggy. Cambodian curry noodles, it tastes OK, but my God the presentation is godawful! & after you mix the noodles up with the curry, it looks like a pile of vomit! In addition, I think they did not strain the vermicelli enough, so there was a lot of water left in the bowl, which ended up diluting the curry. The curry was mild, too, not spicy & the restaurant didn't have any chilly oil. The Japanese udon, if my taste bud is not mistaken, you can actually buy your own soup base (I am pretty sure is Marutomo Agodashi Soup Base) & just make your own... The rest of it is just fish & beef balls. I can literally make my own at home for probably around $5. Lastly, the spring rolls were good, they were fresh, but they needed to roll it tighter, it was loose & eating it was a bit of a mess. We did not try any of their coffee & dessert, maybe those are the highlights of this place... But I'm sorry, food wise, I cannot give it a 5 stars & I wouldn't come back for the food.
Just came for salad/spring rolls, they offered me tea while waiting. Bit of mixing up the order had 8 instead of 4 but everything was great the rolls were fresh & really good with cilantro & veggies. Might come back for other products !
Food was amazing, prices are good & the service was impeccable, pho is honestly one of the best ive tried in the city (only under my mother in law's) They received us with warm tea, perfect for the weather & after ordering, the food was noticeably freshly prepared & quick to arrive If you have a chance to try this place please do yourself a favor & come visit
