Neotokyo is one of the coolest restaurants in Montreal, they definitely nailed it with the decor/ theme, you're eating straight out of a Blade Runner movie scene! We shared a cucumber salad, fried chicken with aioli & some dumplings for starters. Everything we ordered was fresh & tasty & the portion size generous. The Tan Tan soup is recommended if you enjoy eating spicy, A must try is the "Cereal Milk Ice Cream" as dessert which will take you right back to your childhood memories. Our waitress was very friendly & attentive, same with the waiting staff, the service was fast & efficient. The restaurant is always busy (which is a great sign!) so be prepared to wait a little bit for a table.Voir plus

I've been waiting to try Neotokyo for a while after seeing a couple of videos online, & I have to say I'm more than impressed! The atmosphere as anyone can tell is absolutely crazy & fits the cyberpunk aesthetic perfectly, I took soooo many photos. The food & service also did not disappoint, we did have a longer waiting time so our waiter brought complimentary sake & kept checking in on us so we felt taken care of. We had the Neotokyo Mazesoba - it was absolutely delicious & filling, so we ended but bringing it home. I wish I had gotten an image of the meal but I couldn't help to dig in right away. Honestly I'm probably going to be coming back here very soon, already sent a couple of my friends here!Voir plus

The ramen is really good (not the best in the city, but above average for sure). We got there at 5:30 (right when it opens) & there was a line, but we got in right away. Get there at 5:30 if you don't want to wait. Service & atmosphere are great. Perfect for a date or fun & funky dinner. - the spicy chicken karaage was really good. It comes with pumpkin seeds & cranberries on top, which go really well. - I think the TanTan ramen is better than the TonkotsuVoir plus

First, if you want to get into this no-reservations resto, show up fifteen minutes prior to opening. Also, skip lunch. The portions are generous & the food unctuous. We had one traditional ramen soup (great broth), one dry noodle dish that has a little bit of everything added to it, & one bacon cream noodle. All were superb. Starters were nice too: fried chicken, cold eggplant & dumplings. If you do have a starter, a 2-main-dishes / 3 people might be the way to go. Adding this to my favourites list. Un vrai coup de coeur 💕 La décoration est dépaysante & l'ambiance également, mais le top c'est leur nourriture. Les ramens 🍜 étaient délicieuses. Attention, il y en a une qui pique beaucoup (poulet), mais le bouillon est tellement bon. Si vous aimez les nouilles chinoises, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, vous allez vous régaler.Voir plus

Come here for the cyberpunk vibes, not the food. The salmon mazemen is one of the worst noodle dishes I've ever tasted. There was nothing wrong with the salmon or ikura on their own, but the sauce they used was so fishy. The noodles were cold & on the firm side, so unless you REALLY love the taste of raw fish, the whole dish will taste like the stench of a fish market. The only redeeming dish was the spicy karaage. It was crispy & the spiciness level was just about right with a tinge of sweetness. However it was not good enough to forget about the unpleasantness of the mazemen. This place is usually busy too, so expect a long wait to get in & get your food.Voir plus
