The tasting menu is fantastic & the food was grilled to perfection 🍽?. Some of the most exceptional service we've ever gotten; thank you Niko & the rest of the staff 🙏. This was our third celebration there over the recent years, & it never disappoints. Thank you for sharing your exceptional Greek cuisine & atmosphere with us 🇬🇷🏺(we also enjoyed a live band on Saturday evening 🎶). Enjoy! 🥂View more

This was a few years ago pre covid (Yes I'm late). I've been here about 10 times & have always enjoyed the food & atmosphere. However, our last visit, for my brother's surprise 40th birthday, was disappointing. We opted for the preset menu at $58 per person. I made the reservation six weeks in advance & informed the staff that we'd be a group of 22 to 25 people. The person taking the reservation assured me this wouldn't be a problem & that they could handle it. When we arrived, it was clear they had overbooked that night. The tables were so tightly packed that we couldn't pull our chairs back properly to sit down without bumping into the people behind us, & vice versa. It was incredibly uncomfortable. On top of that, our waiter, who was about 6'4" & at least 400 lbs, couldn't navigate between the tables without knocking into us. The food was good, as usual, but the best (or worst) part came when it was time to pay. Most of us paid with debit, & the waiter handed us the machine with the tip already preset to 18%. While 18% is what I was planning to leave anyway, it's the principle of the matter. As a guest, I should have the freedom to choose whether to tip 15%, 18%, 20%, or another amount. After the meal, they put on a show with a live band that gets on a small stage to play Greek music, transforming the place into a nightclub. There's also a bar just outside the reception area. A few of us stepped outside for a breather, & when we came back, they had removed all the tables & chairs. To make matters worse, our jackets & other belongings had been tossed onto random tables & chairs, leaving us searching for them for quite a while.View more
We went for a friend's birthday - amazing service, atmosphere & food. Live music in the evening, the server was so very kind & thoughtful - the whole place has an elevated family/local feel to it - made me feel like I was back in Greece, with the live music & the Greek dancing by dinner-goers in the evening. Highly recommend. The slow-cooked chicken - absolutely delicious!View more
Food always on point a good time to enjoy greek style give band partyingView more
It is good Greek food but it's expensive. The reason is there is a great live music while you eat & then you can dance.View more
I hate writing this review, because the food was excellent & the serving staff seemed pleasant enough, but it would be remiss of me not to mention what constitutes a health hazard in my book. We were placed at a table right next to a speaker, & there was a band playing live Greek music. Initially, this wasn't a problem but as the evening went on, the music went progressively louder & louder until it was intolerable & I had to literally get out of my seat while I was waiting for my check. I mentioned this to the staff, & they smiled politely & were incredibly blasé about it. I came out with a headache, a muffling sound in my ears & an unpleasant taste in my mouth. My brother who has a slight case of tinnitus had a ringing in his ears for quite a while after. It seems problematic to me to place a table so close to a speaker just to make some extra bucks that could cause permanent hearing loss in clientele, & I hope that the owner rectifies it.View more

One of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal. A very nice atmosphere & friendly staff. I love the options in seafoods that they offer & there's live music to entertain clients while they eat. A really nice experience.View more
What an amazing experience! Amazing authentic Greek Cuisine (you don’t go there to eat pita souvlaki) the food was amazing & very well cooked & seasoned. The music & ambiance was amazing & actually seeing customers dance traditional Greek style & having the band singing was worth it alone. We sat next to stage & no issue with the volume. Our waiter was spot one & the best great service. My mouth is watering just writing this review :) if you a local or visiting Montreal you have to try place it’s a must! you really need to try this place. Pricing is right especially for the quality your getting, can’t wait to go again & to bring guest so they can share our experience. Btw I wish I paid attention when I got there but they have Valet Service no need to hunt for parking.View more
Mythos is a staple for the Montreal Greek community for good food & a place to come together & party into the night - about half way up Parc avenue in the center of Mile end. On this hot summer evening we were able to get a table right on the sidewalk just off the terrasse which was awarded to us by the godfather like caracter sitting solo at a table almost on Parc ave. Regulars seemed to know & respect the man, wait staff got their direction from him. Presented with pages of a multitude of greek wine options we settled for a litre of the house wine - which turned out to be italian - but good none-the-less. As a group we shared a couple of aps. We started with the saganaki was surprisingly mediocre. To me, the best varieties of this fried greek cheese has a gooey warm interior that pulls a little bit like pizza mozerella - with a nice crust on the outside. This Saganaki was lukewarm & slightly spongy - not horrible but not near the best i've had. Next we shared the Kolokythakia Tiganita which are batter covered, deep fried chip like slices of zucchini & eggplant served with a side of tatziki which was enjoyed all around. We couldnt seem to eat the chips any faster & the tatziki was among the best i've ever tried - thick as it should be, with a good bite & a surpring addition of dill -which did it wonders. As mains we tried grilled octopus, mousaka, grilled chicken & grilled salmon - all of which were thoroughly enjoyed. Many plates were accompanied by roasted greek potatos - not roasted in a conventional way i'm used to but with a odd red saucy coating- not crispy - which were OK but not great. Several meals also came with 'horta' which we were told was from the dandelion family - presented as a lukewarm green, almost sludge-like accompanyment. Traditional maybe but i left most of it on my plate - others agreed. Ordered an extra plate of the awesome tatziki which everyone heaped all over their mains. Overall good food & solid service by large team that was constantly moving -water glasses were constantly being filled & we were provided with a large basket of slightly old break to use as a vehicle for the remainder of the taziki. Recommended.
