Every dish was fresh & imaginative. The service was excellent & the ambiance was light & fun.
We highly recommend you visit this classic gem on St-Hubert. There is a red neon chicken on the door but not on the menu.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was prompt & professional, & the environment was clean & comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to others

A bit overhyped in my opinion.
We got the tasting menu & added the Bourgot Miso.
Food had interesting flavor combinations & very experimental but not memorable & not something we would return for, except for the Bourgot Miso (but seriously only 2 pieces of bread???)
We had good service initially but there was a lull of about 30-40 minutes between services. Being first time clients here, our waitress didn't come back to the table even once to see how we were liking the food.
It was very loud & hard to talk, but very decorated, very homey & quirky. Couldn't hear my partner talk because of the music.
For the amount you pay here, there are better options out there.

Le service est impeccable & les plats sont incroyablement beaux & délicieux ❤? Je vous recommande de réserver, même si ce soir j'ai tenté ma chance, il etait assez tôt & on a pu avoir une table, mais quand on est parti c'était plein! Je reviendrai!
The service here is exceptional-staff are detail-oriented, attentive, & truly knowledgeable. The food is a standout, offering unique & inventive flavor combinations that are as delicious as they are creative. But what really won me over was the decor! Whimsical, quirky, & full of personality, it adds so much charm to the dining experience. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
My husband & I dined at Montreal Plaza on Tuesday evening, & i were pleasantly surpised by how lively & busy it was for a weeknight. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, & inviting-modern with a quirky charm that instantly sets the tone for a fun, memorable evening. The service was top-notch from beginning to end. Every server we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, & genuinely attentive. It was so refreshing to see every staff member smiling & eager to help.
We shared several dishes & every single one was beautifully executed & plated like a work of art. The Fish tartare with squash was delicate & flavorful. The mackerel plancha was cooked perfectly. The standout for me was the Pacman scallop-a creative ceviche-style dish bursting with brightness from grapefruit & clementines. Absolutely divine!
The monkfish & octopus yakitori was another winner, served with a light salad that paired beautifully. I'm normally not a fan of foie gras, but their foie gras with truffle literally melted in my mouth-it was that good.
For our main, we shared the fluke with beurre blanc. I have a dairy sensitivity, & the chef prepared the dish completely dairy-free-& it was still rich, delicate, & full of flavor. The fact that one of the servers went through the entire menu & marked which items were dairy-free made me feel so taken care of. That kind of attention to detail really makes a difference.
Huge kudos to the chef & the entire kitchen team for executing a flawless meal. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, & the flavors were balanced & memorable. Dining here was such a pleasure from start to finish, & I'm already looking forward to going back.
Five stars, hands down. Highly recommend!

J'ai souvent vu des articles passés en ventant ce restaurant en plus de l'avoir vu dans l'émission Somebody Feed Phil & je me demandais si l'ambiance était vraiment comme ce qu'on voyait dans l'émission sur Netflix. Je peux résumer ma visite en trois mots : quelle expérience formidable! Ma femme & moi avons adorés le menu dégustation, tous les plats étaient savoureux & bien présenter. Tout était excellent, allant des couverts jusqu'à la décoration & le service du personnel. On pouvait vraiment ressentir la personnalité du chef & du restaurant dans chacun des plats. Tout était raffinés & on pouvait bien goûter les saveurs en plus de la complexité des plats. Ils ont également une excellente carte des vins. Nous avons appréciés qu'un membre du personnel différent nous présentes chaque assiette qu'on recevait en plus de se soucier de notre satisfaction. Il y avait vraiment une belle ambiance en cuisine & cela se reflétait sur leurs plats. Je recommande fortement Montreal Plaza & à mes yeux c'est un restaurant incontournable en ville.

Oh la belle expérience culinaire! des plats extraordinaires, aussi succulents que le parfait esthétisme. Bien impressionnée par la créativité de ce resto. Idem pour l'ambiance, & un excellent service. Un personnel si sympa qui nous donne envie d'y retourner! & ce Charles-Antoine Crête, ce chic type qui vient saluer ses clients. Franchement, un 5-étoiles bord en bord, je recommande fortement!

Bruyant trop bruyant Service très approximatif. Les serveurs gagneraient à être formés. Qd on s'allonge sur la table pour disposer le couvert opposé, cela pose question.... Seuls les plats défendent très honorablement cette adresse. Même s'ils gagneraient en simplification... Bref un rapport qualité prix moyen pour une adresse recommandée. Elle ne tient pas son rang.
I always feel nervous going into a seasonal tasting menu, especially in a restaurant known to be creative/adventurous, but Montreal Plaza delivered from start to finish. From the quaint decor, the friendly & impeccable service, to of course the incredible food & wine, we were all so happy with our night. They were so kind to even humour me with a printout of the tasting menu for keepsake, which was typed & autographed on request. Looking forward to going back to a totally new menu. Highly highly recommend.

Tous les plats que nous avons goûtés étaient absolument délicieux. La créativité du chef est remarquable, avec des combinaisons de saveurs innovantes qui surprennent & ravissent à chaque bouchée.
