Review Summary

Montreal Bowling is described as a retro yet enjoyable spot with lanes that look decent and a vibe that suits watching sports or hanging out with friends. Reviews praise the bowling area, the drinks, the free popcorn, and the friendly staff, along with a clean space and good value. It is considered a solid choice for family time, friends nights out, or corporate events, with recommendations to book ahead on weekends to avoid lane waits. Several notes point to occasional organization hiccups during events, such as miscommunication around promotions like free cocktails and slow service for drinks and food. Food items like nachos receive praise for quality, while some guests mention that the bathroom design feels industrial and not ideal. Overall, Montreal Bowling is seen as a fun, versatile venue for casual bowling and socializing, though staff training and event coordination could use improvement.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Montreal Bowling is a fantastic place to have a fun & relaxing time! The lanes are well-maintained, the atmosphere is lively, & the staff is super friendly. Whether you're a seasoned bowler or just playing for fun, you'll have a great time here. Plus, the snack bar offers some tasty treats to enjoy between games. Highly recommend for a great outing with friends or family!

Do call ahead to check availability & pricing. We didn't even make it to the place because one lane was going to be $60 before tax. A little steep for bowling.

Over 50% of the lanes were broken, & another one broke while we waited. The seating at the lanes is configured for two groups of up to five people, but with so many lanes broken, I would strongly advise against coming with over five people if you all want to bowl & sit together. The staff shirts & signs saying "I suck at bowling" felt ironic given the lane issues. Beer prices were exorbitant, making the wait time (with poor estimations given - understandable, considering they clearly can't predict if the lanes will be operational) even more costly. To top it off, the Top 40 TikTok music doesn't fit the bowling alley vibe. They need serious maintenance to attract repeat customers. I would not recommend going here if you actually want to go bowling.

Addicted to the VIP treatment! This is the only way to enjoy a movie when you tasted it once.

I have been living in Montreal for almost 3 years & i never knew about this mall. One evening i was randomly roaming & exploring around McGill, Place des arts & Peel & I went to this mall. It has many sit out spots. It has almost all the shops like Winners etc., & food courts. Best for roaming alone or with friends.

Brings back memories of old forum

Great place to visit in Montreal. The Montreal Forum, once the pulsating heart of the city's hockey life & the home of the Montreal Canadiens, has since been transformed into an urban entertainment complex, yet it remains steeped in history. Walking through the Forum now, one can sense the echoes of roaring crowds & on-ice battles of yesteryear. The transformation has turned it into a modern multiplex with cinemas, eateries, & various retail outlets, providing a one-stop entertainment experience in the heart of Montreal. While some purists might mourn the loss of the iconic sports venue, others will find the mix of history & modern convenience a charming compromise. It serves not just as a hub of activity, but as a bridge connecting the past to the present, inviting all who visit to partake in its storied legacy while enjoying contemporary comforts. Whether you're a sports fan, movie buff, or just looking for a lively spot to spend an evening, the Forum caters to a wide array of interests & preferences.

The Montreal Forum is an Iconic Building. There is a lot of History here especially since it was the previous home of the Montreal Canadiens. Pros: A) It has Gym Restaurants & Cinema. B) Right by & close to the Metro. C) It has a lot of Hockey memories here. D) The Forum is a simplistic design. Cons: A) The building needs more greenery & trees & solar panels etc. B) The building needs to have a sign that it's designated a history site. Other than that this building is important & hopefully more tenants & more care will be implemented especially with climate change mitigations. I would recommend.

Surprised to find so many things at the former arena. 10 pin bowling & sports bar upstairs. Comedy Nest comedy club was great & inexpensive, not too big. Then there is a huge movie theatre complex, & items celebrating the history of The Montreal Canadiens. Located near Atwater Metro stop.
