Display Allmovie(16) forum(15) cinema(9) vip(8) history(8) hockey(7) dollarama(7) building(6) comedy(6) game(5) club(5) drinks(5)The food & the bowling game is very overpriced. Very rude servers to point of tears. Pressure to tip extra from the start (even tho they never really delivered the food/drink to us or serve us) threatened to be kicked out if we didn't do so. But there was this one server who try to make sure everything goes right. But unfortunately, I truly lost my appetite from the whole situation & ruined the whole experience for my boyfriend who just came here to travel. I never wanna come here again.
Bad experience. Not a great place to hang out. The employees & the manager act very rude & disrespect you when you don't buy drinks/food, but just bowling
I'd come back to bowl. We just popped in for a few drinks before our movie & to watch baseball. But I do like the feel of this place, & the bowling looked decent as far as lane quality goes. Staff was nice, & the bathroom was meh on the industrial side, which isn't always the best thing. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind testing the food next time I'm there.
i went to montreal bowling for the watch party of love island, & unfortunately the organization of the event was kind of messy.
we arrived & received two tickets for a free cocktail (yay), so we went to the bar & asked what we could get with the tickets, we got asked to pick a table & that the server would take care of it.
spoiler : he didn't 😭. we showed our free cocktails tickets & he basically let us pick whatever cocktail we wanted on the menu. then it took about 40 minutes to receive those cocktails & another 40 minutes to receive the food.
only for us to get told the'free cocktails' were something completely different & not on the menu, costing us about 30$ for 2 drinks. but i don't see how we're supposed to know that if we're not told from the get go by the 3 employees we asked lol
overall pretty fun, but a little upsetting : if you don't have the trained staff for an event, don't host it. :
Loved the bowling area & the drinks! They also offer free popcorn. The staff were very nice & friendly.
Great ambiance with a younger more hip crowd, definitely a nice bowling alley to have some drinks with friends.
The Forum is ON the UPSWING !! With the grand opening of the new Dollarama Store, built "into" the interior Forum footprint, another business takes root. This is the newest "neighbor to the neighborhood." You will be surprised to know that you CAN GET certain groceries at the Dollarama for a really great price, where in the larger shops you will pay a lot more for staple foods. I shop at the Dollarama for a fair amount of foods & drinks, you cannot usually get at a regular grocery store, so their selection really does pay off. I am always surprised by the Dollarama offerings, seasonally & on a weekly basis. It is always good to take a stroll through a Dollarama, especially a BRAND NEW Dollarama Store. You never know what might fit your fancy, right Let us hope that in 2024, the other vacant spaces in The Forum become populated. But for now The Dollarama Store is the place to check out !! NOTE: The entrance to the shop is outside on Lambert-Closse corner. Come & visit TODAY !! With restrictions in place for so long, the Forum has suffered a great deal. There are only four operating spaces within. The Cineplex, A&W, the Comedy Club, & Mandy's salads. They have redecorated the main center ice & have rid the forum of any hockey history & decor, which is very sad. They just ripped away an entire history for Montreal. Several spaces have been under construction for years now with no endgame in sight. Come to the movies get a salad or a burger & see a show. The Forum needs you more than ever.
