Review Summary

Montreal Bowling is described as a retro yet enjoyable spot with lanes that look decent and a vibe that suits watching sports or hanging out with friends. Reviews praise the bowling area, the drinks, the free popcorn, and the friendly staff, along with a clean space and good value. It is considered a solid choice for family time, friends nights out, or corporate events, with recommendations to book ahead on weekends to avoid lane waits. Several notes point to occasional organization hiccups during events, such as miscommunication around promotions like free cocktails and slow service for drinks and food. Food items like nachos receive praise for quality, while some guests mention that the bathroom design feels industrial and not ideal. Overall, Montreal Bowling is seen as a fun, versatile venue for casual bowling and socializing, though staff training and event coordination could use improvement.

Brings back memories of old forum

Great place to visit in Montreal. The Montreal Forum, once the pulsating heart of the city's hockey life & the home of the Montreal Canadiens, has since been transformed into an urban entertainment complex, yet it remains steeped in history. Walking through the Forum now, one can sense the echoes of roaring crowds & on-ice battles of yesteryear. The transformation has turned it into a modern multiplex with cinemas, eateries, & various retail outlets, providing a one-stop entertainment experience in the heart of Montreal. While some purists might mourn the loss of the iconic sports venue, others will find the mix of history & modern convenience a charming compromise. It serves not just as a hub of activity, but as a bridge connecting the past to the present, inviting all who visit to partake in its storied legacy while enjoying contemporary comforts. Whether you're a sports fan, movie buff, or just looking for a lively spot to spend an evening, the Forum caters to a wide array of interests & preferences.

The Montreal Forum is an Iconic Building. There is a lot of History here especially since it was the previous home of the Montreal Canadiens. Pros: A) It has Gym Restaurants & Cinema. B) Right by & close to the Metro. C) It has a lot of Hockey memories here. D) The Forum is a simplistic design. Cons: A) The building needs more greenery & trees & solar panels etc. B) The building needs to have a sign that it's designated a history site. Other than that this building is important & hopefully more tenants & more care will be implemented especially with climate change mitigations. I would recommend.

When I enter this building it's difficult not to remember the old Montreal Forum. They have done a good job though transforming it into a movie theatre. It's a fun experience watching a movie here & it's right downtown where you can enjoy the sites afterwards 😎👍

The Forum is ON the UPSWING !! With the grand opening of the new Dollarama Store, built "into" the interior Forum footprint, another business takes root. This is the newest "neighbor to the neighborhood." You will be surprised to know that you CAN GET certain groceries at the Dollarama for a really great price, where in the larger shops you will pay a lot more for staple foods. I shop at the Dollarama for a fair amount of foods & drinks, you cannot usually get at a regular grocery store, so their selection really does pay off. I am always surprised by the Dollarama offerings, seasonally & on a weekly basis. It is always good to take a stroll through a Dollarama, especially a BRAND NEW Dollarama Store. You never know what might fit your fancy, right Let us hope that in 2024, the other vacant spaces in The Forum become populated. But for now The Dollarama Store is the place to check out !! NOTE: The entrance to the shop is outside on Lambert-Closse corner. Come & visit TODAY !! With restrictions in place for so long, the Forum has suffered a great deal. There are only four operating spaces within. The Cineplex, A&W, the Comedy Club, & Mandy's salads. They have redecorated the main center ice & have rid the forum of any hockey history & decor, which is very sad. They just ripped away an entire history for Montreal. Several spaces have been under construction for years now with no endgame in sight. Come to the movies get a salad or a burger & see a show. The Forum needs you more than ever.

This is all that remains in the memory of the Montreal Canadiens at the Forum. They even removed the last red benches 😢
