Had the Ranchero for brunch & it was delicious. Can't wait to try some of the other meals. My only complaint is when the café is busy the acoustics are bad. Some sound absorbing acoustics panels would benefit the ambience.Voir plus

THE SPOT à Ville-Emard 😍 Un vent de fraicheur! J'ai vraiment appréciée l'ambiance & le décor avec les plantes + la méga luminosité du au grande fenêtres (we love that) Les plats sont bon, variés & plus raffinés que ce qu'on peut retrouver dans les alentours. We decided to go to Monk in the evening for a change. The car needed charging so ... Any excuse. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming with the candles & lighting just right. We started with a couple of cocktails, Raspberry Sour. The evening menu was varied & we both enjoyed the well-presented main courses. I had the bavette while my wife had the pasta with St. Paulin cheese. The price was reasonable & the quality & service was what we have come to expect at Monk!Voir plus
I went there for my sister's birthday. We were excited to try this place since it's near her house & it looked nice & cozy. The servers were very patient. They allowed us to wait for people who were 45m late. I ordered a chai latter. It was amazing & the cup was to die for. However, the food was really disappointed. The bread was hard & burnt. It was not edible. I had the fried chickens with an egg & salad. The salad was old. I did not eat it. The fried chicken was also hard. It cost me around 28$. The food was not fresh or what you expect for brunch, so it was really disappointing.Voir plus

March 2024: had the smoked salmon sandwich, was pretty good, just wish they had a bagel option. The fried chicken is kinda more schnitzel style, it was good. Funky coffee with choco rum & the mimosa were nice. Service was pleasant & efficient. Wish they offered their mushrooms as an optional side. December 2023: Great decor, friendly efficient service.
