We had brunch on a weekday at monk cafe. & I definitely recommend this place for brunch. They had different weekend menu so make sure to check in advance! (We wanted french toast but it was only available on weekends)
Regardless, the food, coffee & dessert, everything was amazing! & our server Josephine was super friendly, professional & sweet 🥹😘

*Edit* I have been back since & had a much better service experience. Food has always been good & continues to be. I highly recommend the brunch. Good coffee, good evening drink menu. In general this is a great spot. Past: Unfortunately I had a couple of really bad service experiences. One of which the server forgot several items - including a drink- & was chatting with her colleague when I tried to get their attention - which is fine but, when I kindly asked for the missing items they said'ok jai oublie' in a very passive aggressive tone. Kind of mediocre. Another time someone butt in line in front of my friend & the cafe attendant ( I think the same person ) served the other person first ?!?! She waited but, when her turn came the server snarled at her… anyway. I like the evening menu & I've had some good experiences -including good service experience- in the past but, not recently.

Très déçue du déjeuner.

Qualité TRÈS ordinaire. La facture était de 48 $ pour 2 déjeuners, incluant un Americano , un latte & deux assiettes de déjeuner traditionnelles (oeufs, jambon, patates & toast, TRÈS ORDINAIRE pour le prix). Nous avons dû payer un extra pour obtenir deux petits contenants de beurre de pinot Kraft.

Le même genre d'assiette-déjeuner dans un restaurant traditionnel québécois aurait coûté tout au plus 12 à 15 $.

Je suis épuisée que la restauration abuse des prix en réduisant la qualité servie au client. Je ne recommande vivement pas ce restaurant pour déjeuner.

Une belle adresse près du parc Angrignon.
Café délicieux, menu varié & tout est vraiment savoureux ! Je recommande sans hésiter. Le service est impeccable &, en plus, les prix sont très raisonnables. Merci pour cette belle expérience !

Restaurant Super sympa.On mange bien.
L' accueil est vraiment très sympa. La serveuse est à votre écoute & JP le patron est d'une gentillesse. Merci à vous. Une vrai découverte.Je recommande aux Français de passage à Montréal.
