I went here for my birthday & had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, & the service was fast, attentive, & genuinely friendly.
One of the best places I've been to in Montreal - highly recommended. I'm from Miami, so I'm very used to restaurants with great ambiance, & this place truly delivered.
The owner & all the servers were incredibly kind & welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely come back

Beautiful place. I went there two weeks ago with my group of friends, the place is a full experience on itself but also the workers from the door to inside they are the best. I would 100% recommend if you are visiting or you want a nice night out !
Nourriture excellente, mais rien d'exceptionnel. De plus attentes d'une heure à l'extérieur, ambiance de bar & table pour 2 personnes vraiment mal localisé.

Mona Loa is easily one of Montreal's best newer bars & honestly, the definition of a vibe. From the moment you walk in, the ambience hits you-warm lighting, stylish décor, & a laid-back energy that still feels elevated. It's the kind of spot that feels intentionally designed but never pretentious.
The food & drinks are on point, too. Cocktails are crafted with real care, balanced & flavourful without trying too hard. The food menu surprised me in the best way-fresh, well-seasoned, & way better than what you'd expect from a typical bar. You can tell they actually put in the effort.
Whether you're pulling up for a casual night out or looking for a place that feels a bit more curated, Mona Loa delivers. Great vibe, great ambience, great food & drinks. Definitely worth adding to your Montreal rotation.
Meilleur endroit ever! J'ai célébré mon anniversaire en espérant que tout allait bien se passer. L'entrée, les cocktails, le service, tout était juste parfait. Je remercie au staff du bon service qu'ils ont offert depuis qu'on est arrivé. Je recommande cette place à tout le monde & je reviendrai for sure!
Les factures sont données au même moment ou il faut payer mais très peu de temps pour regarder notre facture & beaucoup de pression pour quitter rapidement car les services sont aux 1h30. Aussi , la facture est jetée des que la transaction est réglée . Ils devraient nous demander si on souhaite la conserver ou non. Il y avait des erreurs que j'ai remarqué après malheureusement .Dommage pour la fin de l'expérience parce que la nourriture est excellente & l'ambiance vraiment bien.
Amazing atmosphere & the servers are wonderful. The food is also really great, as well as their Habibi cocktail. Got my friends onto this place!
Made a reservation for dinner, arrived on time but they didn't have a spot remotely close to being ready for us. They suggested we wait outside or crammed by the door with all the other people waiting for their tables to be ready. Anyways we ended up leaving after 30 minutes. If they would have seemed to care a bit more about the inconvenience it wouldn't have been so annoying.
Had a reservation & still had to wait 45 min to be seated. Drinks are delicious & atmosphere is excellent.
-Les réservations ne sont pas respectées tu dois quand même attendre plus de 40min avant de rentrer & nous n'avons pas pu manger car la cuisine est fermée.
-La place est très petite.
-Le prix est quand même assez élevé pour des cocktails qui ne sont pas très bons, même les shots sont cher.
- Le DJ ce samedi n'était pas bon du tout on dirait qu'il avait pris un mixte de YouTube & qu'il l'a fait jouer toute la soirée.
- Ambiance très boff/weird à cause des serveurs & le type de clientèle style influenceur.
