J'y suis allée avec mon mari & nous y avons passé une excellente soirée! L'ambiance était au rendez-vous. Nous ne buvons pas d'alcool donc nous avons commandés des mocktails & ils étaient vraiment à l'écoute par rapport à nos goût, j'ai été agréablement surprise de la complexité des drinks! Super service, je recommande à tous! ☺?

Manger dans ce restaurant a été une expérience assez mauvaise pour moi. Sans la compagnie & le décor, je lui mettrais probablement une étoile. Je le déconseille fortement.
Les plats que j'ai choisis étaient en petites portions (tataki de thon, pétoncles qui pourtant etait un plat principal).
C'était vraiment très cher pour ce que c'était.
Je suis sorti de là en ayant payé 142 $ (avant tips) & en ayant encore faim. J'ai consommé un tataki de thon (5 petits morceaux de thon), un plat de pétoncles (légumes sautés avec 7 petits pétoncles, probablement parmi les plus petits que j'ai mangés), 0,3 L de bière, un cocktail & 5 oz de vin (un vin plutôt ordinaire).
Le pourboire était inclus, environ 20 % au moment du paiement (166$). Pas moyen de le modifier.
Expérience décevante en ce qui concerne la nourriture & le prix.

Eating at this restaurant was quite a disappointing experience for me. If it were not for the company & the decor, I would probably give it one star. I strongly do not recommend it.
The dishes I chose came in very small portions (tuna tataki, scallops).
It was really overpriced for what it was.
I left having paid $142(before tips) & was still hungry. I had a tuna tataki (5 small pieces of tuna), a scallop dish (sautéed vegetables with 7 very small scallops, probably among the smallest I have ever had), 0.3 L of beer, one cocktail, & 5 oz of wine (a pretty cheap wine).
The tip was included, around 20% at payment($166), with no option to modify it.
A disappointing experience overall in terms of both the food & the price.

Nous avons célébré la Saint-Valentin chez Mona Loa & quelle magnifique soirée.
Dès notre arrivée nous avons été charmés par l'atmosphère élégante & accueillante que nous propose l'établissement. L'ambiance était parfaite pour un souper romantique avec ma chérie.
Le menu spécial (table d'hôte) était exceptionnel des saveurs parfaitement équilibrées & des plats préparés avec beaucoup de soin. Le personnel était chaleureux, souriant & très attentif à nos besoins ce qui était très plaisant pour le bon déroulement de notre soirée.
Une expérience inoubliable que nous recommandons sans hésiter pour une soirée spéciale à Montréal 💖🌹.

My girlfriend & I visited from New Jersey, USA while staying in Montreal for Valentine's weekend. We went on 2/13 & were seated right away at their lovely bar. From the ambience, to the customer service to the very tasty cocktails & chicken appetizer- we had a wonderful experience. The bar staff & manager gave us a great experience & showed us their new bar in the basement. What a great place! We will definitely return & recommend to our friends.
The bar tenders were attentive, easy to talk to & have fun over all. The vibe was fun & great & the oysters were delicious & tasted fresh. Definitely recommend trying at least once.
The service was amazing, the food was melting in my mouth it was well balanced. The staff were kind & friendly, last but not least the ambiance wad breath taking I strongly recommend for those who wants a cozy night out with your friends!!

Mon amie & moi avons choisis Mona Loa pour notre girls night jeudi dernier & nous avons adoré ! L'ambiance, le service ainsi que la nourriture étaient excellents ! Un merci particulier à notre bartender/ serveur de la soirée Nishant. Je vous recommande l'endroit qui est idéal pour une date ou une soirée entre amis ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?
Belle ambiance!! Le staff incroyable. Les drinks sont trop bon surtout le pornstar martini. Le Tiger roll je recommande il est vraiment bon. Je vais certainement revenir :)
Nous avons choisi cet endroit pour le nouvel an & c'était une très mauvaise idée. Le DJ est nul (très nul) en plus d'être arrogant. Musique pas du tout adapté à l'endroit & les prix sont exorbitants pour rien. Les toilettes sont sales. Un gros potentiel pour le restaurant au niveau de la localisation & du décor, mais mal entretenue. Je ne recommande pas.
Un vrai SCAM!!! Je recommande zero!! Nous avons réservé pour 8 personnes, ils nous ont donné une table de 6 & nous avons du les pousser à nous accommoder pour mieux. Ensuite, les prix sont exorbitants pour la qualité de la nourriture; les sushis ne se tiennent pas & goûtent la mayo/le plat de saumon ou de morue est accompagné de rien… sans légumes ou tout autre accompagnement comme le mentionne le menu (il y avait qu'une sauce & une toute petite piece de viande dans l'assiette, CEST QUOI ÇA?!)/les crevettes était piquante & rien ne l'indiquaient/les frittes avec le Wagyu ou le steak étaient censées avoir de la truffle, mais sans t'avertir…il n'en restait plus, donc ils te servent des frites molles pour le même prix. En plus de ça, ils ont servis 2 plats après que tous avaient fini de manger…. C'est censé être un resto fancy à ce prix & vivre une expérience, la raison pourquoi on voulait y fêter un 30 ans, mais on est sorti de là avec de grosse facture pour quelques choses qu'on fait beaucoup mieux à la maison. Je suis très fâchée, le ventre vide & j'ai l'impression de m'avoir fait volée.

Je suis allée au Mona Loa avec mon amie. Nous avons reçu un service exceptionnel de la part de Nish ! L'ambiance & le décor sont vraiment super. Je recommande & j'y retournerai.
I went here for my birthday & had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, & the service was fast, attentive, & genuinely friendly.
One of the best places I've been to in Montreal - highly recommended. I'm from Miami, so I'm very used to restaurants with great ambiance, & this place truly delivered.
The owner & all the servers were incredibly kind & welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely come back
