Excellent experience. We came to Mona Loa to celebrate a birthday & the staff went above & beyond to make our day special. We were seated on the lower level lounge, immediately immersed in the club-in-a-volcano vibe.

As this was a pregame spot for us, we didn't get a chance to try the food, but we did give a proper run through the drink menu, & we all left thoroughly impressed. The drinks were expertly crafted & delicious. Strong enough to feel good, but well balanced & in line with the tropical theme.

Great atmosphere, killer drinks, & hyper attentive service. I want to give a special shout-out to our server & management, especially Charly & Nish (please forgive me if I misspelled your names - just wanted to thank you for your hospitality & recommendations).

Can't wait to come back next time we're in town.

Absolutely amazing experience here! The vibes are insanely cool & the drinks are expertly crafted. Simon was an amazingly attentive bartender & so sweet! Gave me extra olives when I finished my dirty martini without me even asking! Would come here 10/10 times for a girls night or a date!

Just had the most amazing experience! Meagan the bartender upstairs was knowledgeable, fun & attentive. All the staff were welcoming & the vibe was incredible. The cocktails were perfectly balanced & flavourful. It was my friends bday & they surprised her with the most amazing dessert. By far one of the best places I've been to. Can't wait to go back!!!

The bar tenders were attentive, easy to talk to & have fun over all. The vibe was fun & great & the oysters were delicious & tasted fresh. Definitely recommend trying at least once.

I went here for my birthday & had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, & the service was fast, attentive, & genuinely friendly.

One of the best places I've been to in Montreal - highly recommended. I'm from Miami, so I'm very used to restaurants with great ambiance, & this place truly delivered.

The owner & all the servers were incredibly kind & welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely come back

Mona Loa is Montreal's newest hidden gem. The cavernesque, intimate atmosphere creates the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night. The staff is outstanding-warm, attentive, & clearly passionate about what they do. The cocktails are exceptional, with the standout being the Habibi, hand-delivered by the owner himself. The music, the vibe, & the energy make this speakeasy the city's new hot spot. A must-visit.
