Located in Montreal's Chinatown, Mon Nan Village a discrete restaurant that's easy to miss unless you know where to look. The restaurant offers some of the best pan-fried dumplings, Peking duck and General Tao chicken in town. The dumplings are just a small part of an extensive Dim Sum selection that can be ordered from the daytime menu. Great staple of Chinatown. Even if I visit this place only once a year, I'm always looking forward to my visit. The duck is a must. You have to try the salt & pepper tofu (EXTREMELY addictive) & enjoy the jasmine tea served with the meal.View more

Came here specifically for the Peking duck. Paid extra to have it with the fried noodles & it was worth it. We were a group of four women & one child - in addition to our three course peking, we also ordered fried lobster, water spinach greens & saltfish fried rice. We left no crumbs. Will come again next time I'm in town.View more

The place was nice & lit up & the service was okay, but we came towards the time it was closing so the waiters were probably tired & ready to go home. The food was really good & we were very satisfied. Though one thing that was a bit off was that when I ordered the wonton soup, the soup was good but the wonton tasted like soggy dough, but I totally recommend the shrimp dumplings! Overall everything was excellent & I would 100% recommend the place! ^^View more
