Review Summary

Mojito & Margarita comes across as a lively, welcoming spot where generous portions and strong drinks pair with authentic Cuban and Mexican flavors. Diners consistently praise tasty, well seasoned dishes such as tacos, fajitas, ribs and fish, and note the margaritas and mojitos as standout drinks, while the ambiance is described as festive and intimate and the value as affordable. Service is generally friendly and attentive, and many plan to return, though a few reviews mention occasional slow or uneven service and some concern about flavor balance or freshness. The atmosphere, neighborhood feel, and consistency in presenting appealing plates like the papaya salad and well garnished tacos make this a reliable go to for those seeking a flavorful, budget friendly night out.

Listen to my videos you'll hear how genuinely happy I was So I randomly came in to this restaurant after being disappointed by 3 of their fellow neighbours I saw the flags & I said yes this is what im looking for As the gentille serveuse gives me & explains to me the menus I see something I don't usually see in other Mexican inspired restaurants TORTAS I got so excited because no place in Montreal I have been too had tortas on their menus for some reason I had the fried chicken torta I'm not sure if I was supposed to have frijoles or not I thought I was supposed & I think they may have forgotten it but if I wasn't supposed then I'm sorry listen it still deserve a 5 star it was DE-LI-CIOUS I'm totally coming back I came yesterday noon ish w 2 girls it wasn't crowded at all so I got my food under 10 mins like the serveuse said Walked out of that restaurant not expecting much of it most latino restaurants in Montreal are pretty basic but after my first bite in the car I couldn't help myself I smudged my red lipstick all over my fingers & my face 😂😂 I've read the other reviews if the restaurant reads this keep up the good work & keep getting better don't stop what you're doing perfect it I'm definitely coming back Oh & it came w 2 sauces very tasty I enjoyed the little salad touch it made me feel less guilty of CHEATING ON MY DIET😅🩷 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best tacos in Montreal!! These are *foodie* tacos, the flavour combinations are unique & unbelievably tasty. They recently moved from a tiny little location to a much larger space. Service is always friendly & efficient, ambience is a mix of Cuban & Mexican vibes.. we love it :)

Uniquely flavorful Cuban-Mexican cuisine with in a friendly environment with a great team. Only suggestion is that it is a bit small for the popularity they have been receiving

We grew up with both Cuban & Mexican cuisine in Los Angeles, & we make it a point of trying out Cuban & Mexican restaurants worldwide when traveling for work or fun & the uniquely Cuban-Mexican flavors & the quality of the ingredients along with the "just right" preparation of the pork appetizer, the quesadilla, & the most uniquely flavorful Cuban sandwich - this is a must stop for anyone who likes Cuban or Mexican cuisines & is open to innovative new fusion of the two. CubanMex fusion cuisine is getting traction in Florida, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona & of course California, but hands down - this small simple family run restaurant in Montreal is at the front of this trend. I only hope they don't get so popular, that we cannot get in next time. This type of innovation in flavor from immigrants merging their own two cultures is what Montreal is all about!
