I recently dined at Moishes, & the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The atmosphere was both elegant & inviting. The food was great. The rib-eye steak was the best part, cooked perfectly & served with equally delicious sides. The service was the highlight of the experience. Jordan was an amazing host, welcoming us warmly & making sure we felt taken care of throughout the evening. Danny provided exceptional service, displaying both professionalism & attentiveness. Their dedication made the evening, not just a meal, but an experience to cherish. Moishes is definitely a place to go back to.Voir plus
Food: 9.5/10 Service: 7/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Food was excellent, burger, steak, oysters. Our vegetables were very burnt thought. It was nice to have our steak come with nothing on it, & you can decide on your spices & sauces after. Too many steakhouses in Montreal burn your steak & put way too many spices on it, ruining the steak. The host was great, we were properly greeted. The service was okay, the waitress was clearly very tired. My guests thought she lacked professionalism(the way she approached the table). We were sitting at a table with a window on the kitchen, the people in the kitchen were laughing & joking together, which again made my guests uneasy for this type of restaurant. It took forever to take our plates away, other waiters were walking around our table & not caring about that. Had to ask for more water. Our waitress had too much to handle. The old Moishes use to work where every waiter in the restaurant would work together & the service was phenomenal, seems like it doesn't work like that anymore, sadly. For a very high end restaurant(bill worth 800$), you want phenomenal service. The atmosphere is very quiet, so if thats what you enjoy, definitely this is your steakhouse. You can hear each other speak, not like other places in Montreal with booming music.Voir plus

Nous avions une réservation pour un anniversaire. Notre serveuse était très bête, lorsque nous lui posions une question elle nous faisait sentir que nous la dérangions plus qu'autre chose. Elle demandait si nous avions choisi & puisque tout le monde n'avait pas encore choisi elle soupirait. Elle ramassait les assiettes super fort & faisait plein de bruit au point même de verser un liquide qu'il y avait dans l'assiette sur un de nos invités pas d'excuse absolument rien elle est juste partie. Au prix que nous payons pour le souper, nous nous attendions à avoir un meilleur service.Voir plus
Perfect experience! Great restaurant for any type of occasion. Every dish we had was full of flavour & the products used felt very fresh & were of great quality. I wish we had more room in our stomach to try others dishes (the portions are also generous!!). As for the service, everyone who catered to us was excellent. Le problème est avec la salle de bain qui est mix...j'ai détester ...quand je suis soutie du cubicule deux homme venais de sortir les pantalons pas attaché un les pantalons même pas monter...ils ont trouver ça drôle jusqu'à ce que mon Beau Père sorte d'un cubicule .... Très très déçu....Voir plus
I messed up our reservation & showed up two days early. The man at the front was extremely accomodating, allowing us a table in the following half hour even though the restaurant was quite full, & even gave us free drinks when the table took a bit longer to be ready. They did not have any obligation to serve us since i am the one who didnt reserve correctly, but they were so nice about it & it was all resolved with minimal friction. Shout out to our server, Hugo, who was having a great time & joking with us! The highlight of the night. Food was excellent, highly recommend the crab cake entrée & beef tartare. 18oz Filet mignon was to die for. Crème brûlée was light & perfect. Overall, a great night!Voir plus

Moishes is one of our go-to's when we want something extra special. Our recent visit was as expected. Great service,a delightful Caesar salad starter, steak cooked to perfection, delicious fries, pickles & coleslaw. The wine suggestion from the waitress was a perfect addition to the fabulous dinner! I haven't been to Moishes since they were at their old location, & they are still outstanding in all categories. Their level of service is legendary, as how the host welcomes you into the restaurant & how your servers are ready to help in every way possible with the menu-refilling your water at every chance. Every dish of food is delicious. We started with the Rockefeller oysters & beef tartare. We both had the filet mignon for our mains & asparagus & Monte Carlo potatoes as sides. We had two nonalcohols, which were surprisingly like sour candy. My partner didn't want to pick up a dessert that night, but I will have to take them back to try many of the superb options Moishes offer. We were celebrating our 11th anniversary, & Moishes made it a special one. We are looking forward to making many more beautiful memories there in the coming future.Voir plus
What a wonderful & delicious experience we had at this famous Montreal classic restaurant "Moishes" since 1936 Our dynamic waiter Danny C was a sweetheart with his jovial spirit & great sensé of humour. As a family with young children, it can be challenging to find a restaurant that caters to both adults & kids, but this steakhouse exceeded our expectations in every way.
