Modavie est un lieu intemporel qui nous rappelle nos racines, où dames & messieurs se réunissent pour manger dans une atmosphère animée causée par de bonnes conversations, de la musique live et les parfums boisés d’une salle vintage. Né en 1997, il est rapidement devenu populaire parmi les locaux et les visiteurs, et est maintenant considéré comme une institution montréalaise.
Régalez-vous avec une cuisine française raffinée dans un espace antique et tamisé sur deux étages. Du classique tartare de bœuf, au savoureux ris de veau, en passant par la fameuse ratatouille, vos envies seront facilement rassasiées.

Imon (sp) was our server, & right off the bat, she was like a long-lost friend. She was amazing with such great energy & personality. She made the dining experience such a memorable one. She made my husband & I so comfortable & met our every need. The food was flawless. Came here for MTLATABLE, which is a prix fixe food event at select restaurants across the city. There was a decent selection of dishes made with Quebec produce across 3 courses. I picked the poutine, chicken & creme Brule. Honestly, I only enjoyed the poutine & it wasn't as heavy as regular poutine. The chicken was a disappointment due to the lack of flavours. It tasted like grocery store rotisserie. The creme Brule was nothing special. However the highlight of this restaurant is definitely the live music, which starts at 7pm every night. The jazz singer & the band that performed tonight were excellent. Without it, the experience would have been pretty underwhelming.Voir plus

The place is very popular because it boasts live music, with a jazz band performing every Tuesday.

The rack of lamb was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone going here. The staff was friendly & accommodating. The waiter was kind enough to heed our odd request to split the bill across 4 credit cards. I never felt like we were waiting for the staff.
