Modavie est un lieu intemporel qui nous rappelle nos racines, où dames & messieurs se réunissent pour manger dans une atmosphère animée causée par de bonnes conversations, de la musique live et les parfums boisés d’une salle vintage. Né en 1997, il est rapidement devenu populaire parmi les locaux et les visiteurs, et est maintenant considéré comme une institution montréalaise.
Régalez-vous avec une cuisine française raffinée dans un espace antique et tamisé sur deux étages. Du classique tartare de bœuf, au savoureux ris de veau, en passant par la fameuse ratatouille, vos envies seront facilement rassasiées.

Whenever we visit Montreal from Upstate NY, it's tradition to have our first dinner of the trip at Modavie! The atmosphere is amazing, the food is always wonderful & the service is top-notch. Tonight our server was George & he was so kind & accommodating - we had our two sons with us (9 & 12) & they felt right at home. Our table had the lamb, steak & frites, scallops & seasonal pasta. J'aime!!! Do yourself a favor & immerse yourself in the exquisite divinity that is Modavie! French fare at its finest. The basque chicken is just tickled perfectly with peppers, which will tickle your esophagus as it slides down! Careful not to squeal in delight! Had the valentines day menu that was advertised all over their platforms to find out it was a per person deal. Nevertheless, we were disappointed by the scallop tartare that lacked flavor & main dish that was alright but consisted of 6 medium sized shrimp, a lick of mashed potatoes, & a pile of soggy lettuce. this restaurant is so cozy & perfect for a date night especially with the live music. the rack of lamb was amazing, same with the seafood linguini. the mac & cheese though, was the star of the show. my husband & i both couldn't stop talking about how good it was.Voir plus

Great find! Had live music great bartender & the foods amazing. Def a great date night spot. Great attention to my lemon allergy. Had the duck one of my fav & hubby had the rack of lamb. All good. We came to MODAVIE for brunch. We were a large group so, we reserved a table. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly & professional.
