Modavie est un lieu intemporel qui nous rappelle nos racines, où dames & messieurs se réunissent pour manger dans une atmosphère animée causée par de bonnes conversations, de la musique live et les parfums boisés d’une salle vintage. Né en 1997, il est rapidement devenu populaire parmi les locaux et les visiteurs, et est maintenant considéré comme une institution montréalaise.

Live band for brunch which is great. Service is great, & they accommodate group reservations. Only reason for 4 stars is the cost- don't know if the food justifies the cost. But overall great atmosphere & a nice place to take a break from roaming around the old port.Voir plus

Came here for dinner expecting a great experience as per previous reviews but was left disappointed. Food was pretty bland & could absolutely use more flavour. Very sub par. We were extremely excited to come here based on other reviews but we were disappointed. The tables were crammed in so tight & seat so uncomfortable, waiters pushing by every few seconds. The food was very bland. Not bad but not good. Service was poor, disappointed!Voir plus

Côté nourriture tout était très bon. Peut être un bémol toutefois, les mini légumes ou légumes croquants qu'on voit aussi dans d'autres restos de ce type. Ça n'ajoute absolument rien aux saveurs du plat : personne n'aime ça ! Mon filet Mignon & une bonne purée bien présentée auraient été parfaits. D'autant que la viande était très tendre & bien cuite. Service courtois, mais serveuse trop pushy pour commander les choses les plus chères du menu & nous presser de quitter, pis l'annonce des 2h pour manger... Je n'ai vraiment pas apprécié car on vient dans ce type de restau aussi pour profiter du cadre & c'est pas un resto petit budget.Voir plus

Friendly stuff. We arrived & they told us the kitchen closes in 30 minutes. Food came promptly & delicious. Crème brûlée had a crunchy top & sweet no stinky egg smell. Fois a gras was whole not past. Lamb chops were tender & well seasoned. They had live jazz but it was over when we got there. Parking is difficult at this time because the city has the whole street dug up even Uber couldn't drop us in front of the door. we had to walk then change sidewalks so we weren't sure if it's open or not but we got closer we saw like a bridge over construction to get to the door.Voir plus

I would return again & again purely to see Lorenzo & have the experience with him! He is truly wonderful! The young lady with the gold glasses was delightful (sorry I don't know her name).
